How to style flare sleeves? (first Autumn outfit)/ Kako nositi široke rukave? (Prva jesenska kombinacija)

We're back in Mostar. The question of the day is how to style flare sleeves. Blouses, shirts and tops with flare sleeves are growing in popularity. Now that the Autumn has arrived, this type of flared long sleeves might be just what we need to bright up our days a little. Everyone loves a little flare. So, how should we go about it? How to style flare sleeves for every day? When it comes to every day wear, I always recommend denim. Pairing a flared sleeved blouse with a denim skirt will give a casual note to your outfit. If you want to make the outfit a bit more feminine, I recommend wearing heels. I chose my DIY pom pom sandals with high heels. How do you like this look? The location is, as I said Mostar. In fact, I already talked about this bridge and location in this post so no need to repeat myself.

P.S. I cut my hair in a long bob but since my hair grows so fast it already grew out a bit.

P.S. Ošišala sam kosu u neki duži bob, ali pošto mi kosa tako brzo raste, frizura je već u prijelaznoj fazi.

PS. Vidi se promena frizure iako nije drasticna i stoji ti super

  7. Your hair looks beautiful. I find that when I cut my hair, it almost makes it grow faster sometimes ;p Yes denim is perfect for everyday wear and the way you styled this look really makes your flare sleeves details stand out.

Divno mesto i divna ti <3

  13. First of all, I think that your hair looks gorgeous!! The new style really suits you, I was thinking of going for a similar sort of length myself as my hair is getting ridiculously long and I think it's time for a change! Loving your outfit as always, I think that flare sleeves are gorgeous and I have a similar shirt myself, but black. I do find it a little difficult to style, actually, but I do like your idea of styling it with a denim skirt, and I think that works perfectly! Also, it's so sunny and beautiful your end... Autumn finally hit here and now it's just gray and rainy!! x Fab post as always, and I hope that you have an amazing weekend, hun! <3

  15. Let me start by saying you look AH~MA~ZING! Red is such a great color on you. Yaasss, we all love some flare and need them in our lives! I am a huge fan of this trend and will keep styling them way into Fall I hope. I think denim skirt is a great way to wear them. Yours looks so fabulous with the kissing pleat in front. The length is just perfect. Guess what? I wore my pom sandals to school today cos I dress down on Fridays and everyone loved them and thought they were so stinking cute. When I hear pom pom heels/sandals, I always imagine brightly colored pom poms. I love that yours deviates from the norm or the expected. Looks grown up and beautiful. I've missed your outfit posts. As I waited for your page to load, I wondered what super amazing piece of art would greet me so I was pleasantly surprised to see an outfit post. Don't get me wrong, your illustrations are fantastic and I personally think you are very talented, but for some reason, I've been missing your outfit posts. This is beautiful, like very beautiful. Such lovely shots and location. I'd love to be living in one of those homes by the water. The view must be breathtaking. TGIF Ivana. I hope you have a very lovely weekend.

    1. thank you...I love red clothing items. I know you're a real flare expert, I loved all your last flare looks.

I bet those pom pom sandals made your day more bright. The reason why mine aren't colourful is that I wasn't able to find any colourful pom poms in the shop. So, I bought these ones that were actually lining for curtains! Creative thinking always pays off in the end:).

  20. Looking so beautiful, dear Ivana! You know that I love red - red-orange, coral tones and your top is great, with bell sleeves! It's true, how to style bell sleeves on a daily basis? Not so easy, and you have done a great job, what for a beautiful outfit! I like denim very much and I liked that you recommended denim for bell sleeves! I also love that you show Mostar and it is really a beautiful place! Wish I can visit it one day! Hope you have a lovely weekend with many great things!

  22. Oh, I love such type of sleeves. Such a beautiful blouse and its coral looks striking against the blue of the denim. That's what I would call "smart casual" - just the right proportion of casual and smart mixed together.

My fashion illustration of the day + book review / Moja modna ilustracija dana + ogled knjige ( Le Diable au corps) 6.12.2016

This morning I read an amazing novel. Le Diable au corps (translated as The Devil In the Flesh) is a novel by Raymond Radiquet. Believe it or not, this was by first book by this French writer. I don't think I even heard of him before, which is odd, but well, it happens. In his time, Raymond was quite a celebrity and he is still considered as one of the important French writers of that period. Did I like this novel? Quite frankly, I loved it. I just couldn't put this novel down. I must have read it an hour or so. I got up a bit more earlier this morning so I actually had time to read it with my morning coffee (it is not a very long novel but still it is amazing how easy it was to find one's self glued to those pages). Perhaps I should make it a habit, getting up more early so I can read more.
Jutros sam pročitala divan roman. Đavo u tijelu  (naslov izvornika Le Diable au corps) je roman Raymonda Radiqueta. Vjerovali ili ne, ovo je moj prvi roman ovoga pisca. Mislim da nika…

Fashion illustrations of the day (markers)

Hello darlings! How are you? Can you believe that February ends today? This month has just flown by. I know it's the shortest month in the year but still. Today I'm going to share 3 fashion illustrations and sketches with you. The medium for all of them is marker on paper. I don't work with markers that often, but sometimes it is good to try something different. The fashion sketches I'm sharing are all about 3 colours: purple, green and red. Spring is in the air, so this is my reflection on all those trends for the new season. The first illustration shows a girl wearing a purple and blue jumpsuit. The second illustration features a girl wearing a transparent green dress with a top and a skirt under that dress. The third illustration shows two girls in red gowns.

February Recap (art & DIY projects & outfits)

I've put a lot of effort into blogging this February, I hope it shows. As far as the content goes, February was similar to January, mostly a mix of my illustrations and outfit posts (here). This month I was full of positing ideas and I managed to make many of them happen. I feel pretty good about that. The only thing I feel bad about is making my blog monolingual and not using my other languages, but translating texts from English to other languages takes such a long time. It is so much easier to just write in English.  Hopefully, I'll manage to change that and make my blog multilingual again. I need to organize my time better. Fingers crossed. For March I already have a few posts prepared. You can expect more art (mostly fashion illustrations) & outfit posts.

DIY PROJECTS
I shared two DIY projects in February, one about making a Barbie dress, the other was about how to paint a plant container. I don't have any DIY projects prepared for March, but I'm sure that I…
