Reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in Stari Grad, island Hvar
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! Today I'll share a travelogue from Stari Grad on island Hvar accompanied by a book review for the first (and best known) novel in The Chronicles of Narnia series- The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe . Published in 1950, this portal fantasy novel, written by British author C. S. Lewis is still a beloved classic . Three out of seven Narnia novels were (and quite successfully) adapted to the big screen in our 21st century (2005-2010). So, the Narnia series is pretty well known, even for those who are not fantasy fans. The Chronicles of Narnia have been in continuous print ever since they saw the light of day, selling one hundred million copies so far! The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the novel that started it all. In this post, you'll not also see me posing with this novel, you'll get to take a tour of Stari Grad.
