My Experience Taking Art Courses at Art Center Michelangelo Mostar

I have  probably mentioned taking art classes at least a few times here on my blog. I've always loved art, so it is hardly surprising that I decided to take an art course. I took me a while to put together this post, because there were a lot of photographs that I wanted to include. In addition, I wanted to write about painting reproductions because that's an essential part of most traditional art courses. I did write about that when I posted Is Reproduction Painting a Good Way to Improve One's Painting Skills?  article so feel free to check that one as well. Over the years, I've showed you a number of paintings I made in those art courses I took, but I wanted to do a special post with most of them (and all of my most recent ones).
Basically, my story with art courses started a few years ago when I signed up for my first art classes at a local gallery here in Mostar. After I got my course degree, we (all the participants) had an exhibition together. It was a lovely ex…

MY FAVOURITE PAIRS OF JEANS: A VISUAL GUIDE TO WEARING JEANS

A VISUAL GUIDE TO WEARING JEANS IN AUTUMN AND WINTER

Let's face it. Jeans will never go out of style. A good pair of jeans is both comfortable and functional. They have been popular ever since they were invented. Durable, comfortable and reliable, a good pair of jeans is hard to resist. Jeans are pretty fabulous, aren't they?  Today I'm going to talk about my favourite pairs of jeans for Autumn/ Winter and how I happened to find them. Most of the outfit shared will be Autumn ones, but I'll share a few options for colder weather as well. I'll also share a few fashion illustrations of mine because jeans are actually a lot of fun to illustrate.

Most jeans I own are vintage, and I either found them in a closet or got them from someone. Oddly enough, I don't shop for jeans that often. I think it has to do with my love for vintage clothes. When I was a kid, my favourite thing to do was to roam through my mother closet. I would do the same when we woul…

How To Style Animal Print? + An Autumnal Fairy Tale at Ethno Village Near Medugorje

With winter at our doorstep, I think it's important to make the most out of the left over autumn days. With that in mind, my husband and I payed another visit to our favourite (still not officially opened!) ethno village in vicinity of Medugorje. I wrote about this eco/ethno village a number of times, so if you want to know more (or just see more photographs) feel free to check out my old posts herehereherehere and here.  Autumn is Herzegovina is always gorgeous, and this year hasn't been an exception. We had some sudden weather changes and drastic changes of temperature, but I would still describe this autumn as a beautiful one. The Sunday this photographs were taken on was rather gorgeous, so I'm certainly glad we went on this little trip. I know I'm repeating myself, but I do cherish moments like this. Every time I step into this little village, I feel as if the time has stopped or rather like I have just travelled in time. It's such a charming place! I h…
