VRBOSKA (AKA LITTLE VENICE) ON ISLAND HVAR, CROATIA

Island Hvar hides many gems and I'm very excited to share them all with you. Today I'm taking you to a little picturesque village named Vrboska and nicknamed 'Little Venice'. Located at the end of a narrow bay, this tiny village is an ideal place to escape the stresses of modern life. Because of its lovely bridges, Vrboska was nicknamed 'Little Venice'. Everything from the pine forest surrounding it to the traditional Dalmatian architecture within is absolutely beautiful. The views are simply amazing. No wonder it is increasingly popular with the tourists.  This village started its life as a fishing port and its deep bay still offers protection for boats and yachts.  It is the perfect place to stroll around and admire boats and traditional stone houses.
