TWO NEW SEASCAPES: WATERCOLOUR PENCIL ON PAPER (JELSA, ISLAND HVAR)

Today I'll show you two new landscape paintings I sketched while lounging on a beach in Jelsa (island Hvar, Croatia) and finished when I got back home. One of these paintings is more detailed while the other is a  more a sketch. When I finished the first one, my husband asked me why I don't do something with less details so I did another one. The view on these paintings is slightly different. They both depict the same place, but the perspective is different. On the first painting only Brac island is visible in the distance (i.e. background) while on the other you can also see mountain Biokovo and Croatian coastline in the distance. That is because my perspective was different while I was sketching. That is what I love about Croatia. You can move just twenty  meters and you'll get a  totally different perspective and panorama.
