The Millstone, a Novel by Margaret Drabble (Book Review)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I shall review The Millstone , a novel by author Margaret Drabble. This is not my first novel by her, for I have previously read The Sea Lady by this author. However, when I picked up a copy of Penguin edition of this novel in a second shop last Summer, I was only dimly aware of the connection. It took some travelling down the memory lane (and blog archives) to firmly connect The Millstone with the novel I read and loved in 2005. I did recognize the writing style once I started reading, but it took me a minute to connect the two novels in my head. Who is Margaret Drabble? She's actually Dame Margaret Drabble, an English writer and biographer. As a writer, Dame Margaret Drabble is mostly known for her novels and short stories.
