FASHION ILLUSTRATION, A DRESS FROM VALENTINO SPRING 2019 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION

Image
Hello darlings! Right now I feel so high on that fashion week adrenaline, that's all I seem to think about. Does that ever happen to you? The fashion shows I have seen so far have all been fabulous. There are so many dresses and designs that I want to illustrate and I  think I have picked the perfect look to start with. Today I'm back with another fashion illustration. I already illustrated one of Valentino's dresses ( here you can see my illustration from Valentino Couture 2019 collection) , but today I decided to illustrate another runaway looks of theirs and this time from Ready to Wear 2019 collection. This deep V neck dress caught my eye instantly, and I just knew I had to illustrate it. Moreover, the model that wore is incredibly beautiful. Scroll down to find out more about this fashion art of mine.  I don't know if you have noticed, but fashion illustrators have gone head over heals with Pierpaolo Piccioli and his Spring collection. His couture 20

HOW TO STYLE A LEATHER JACKET WITH AN OVERSIZE SCARF FOR WINTER?

Image
The title of this post is pretty straight forward. Today I'm going to show you a way in which you can style an oversize scarf with a leather jacket. To answer the question why you would want to do that in the first place, I'll just stress that leather jackets are a perfect outwear for cold and windy days. Many of you own a black leather jacket, I'm sure. Faux leather jackets are great item, but I'll talk about them some other time. Basically, leather jackets are great because they provide us with an isolation against the wind and the cold (especially quality ones). However, as you probably know, a leather leather is usually not the most soft item as such. To create that cozy feeling, you need to wear something soft underneath it. Why not wear something soft over it as well. A nice oversize scarf can be a great solution to make your leather jacket more cozy for the winter. Moreover, an oversize scarf can be a great pop of colour. In this outfit, I played with colours a

NEW FASHION ILLUSTRATIONS: LOUIS VUITTON RED DRESS AND OTHERS

Image
The first fashion illustration I'm sharing today was inspired by one of the dresses from Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 Ready To Wear collection. Have you per change seen this collection? I was attracted to it instantly. This printed red dress caught my eye, so I simply had to illustrate it. This Louis Vuitton spring collection seems a step back from the classical Louis Vuitton style but I like it. It's a very eclectic collection with a mixture of modernist, futuristic and classical cuts. Dominated by white, blue and black, it also included other more vibrant colours. I spotted quite a few red accessories (and two red dresses).  If fashion collections shown so far are anything to go by, spring fashion is going to be beautiful. I loved all of the collections I have seen so far, and I can't wait to see them all. When it comes to fashion collections, I like to take my time to browse the runaway. In addition, I always love to see a video recording and if I have time, that's

HOW TO STYLE A RED PUFFER IN A FEMININE WAY? (ÄŒAPLJINA, BIH)

Image
Today I have another winter outfit proposal for you. One of my favourite colours to wear in winter is red. If you ask me, winter is the perfect season to get out Red Riding Hood vibe on. Today's topic is:  How to style a red puffer jacket in a feminine way? I do love puffer jackets, but it is not always easy to style them in a feminine way. An easy to solution is to buy a puffer jacket that has a more feminine cut and design, but you don't really need to buy a new jacket, you just need to get a bit creative. For example, you can always belt the puffer jacket. By putting accent on the smallest part of your waist, you'll automatically create a more feminine silhouette.  This particular puffer is not exactly feminine in its cut and design, which is a small wonder since it was bought at  men's department. My husband bought it, but it was too small for him so I ended up wearing it. It is really warm and I love red, so this puffer made its way into my closet. Plus, it lo

FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: VALENTINO SPRING 2019 COUTURE

Image
Hello darlings. Today I'm back with another fashion drawing.  This time I was inspired by Valentino Spring 2019 couture collection. My verdict? Pierpaolo Piccioli has created a truly breath-taking collection! Have you per chance seen it? It's all over social media. I think it's great that people are getting that excited about couture fashion again. I do like couture fashion. The best couture collections always make you feel like you have stepped into a fairy tale. In addition, it is fascinating to see all those magnificent gowns, isn't it? I suppose part of couture's appeals lies into recreating that 'modern princess' feeling. When you look at a couture collection, you can be pretty sure that these are some carefully constructed garments. You know you're seeing gowns and creations that someone has put so much effort into. I do enjoy seeing couture collections mainly because they are often very theatrical, both in design and in feeling. It is not so much
