Summertime in Mostar (black and white dress) / Ljeto u Mostaru (crno bijela haljina)


Sunny summer days in Mostar city. Simple pleasures in life. The smell of pine trees in the air. (They have a special scent during the Summer. Have you ever noticed that?) Strolling around the city with my significant other.  A cup of coffee enjoyed in good company. Simply daily rituals that can be so meaningful. Admiring street air. Finding a reason to smile because as Claudio Baglioni sings life is know (youtube link here). Black and white dress worn with colourful sandals (wedges) because as you all know I'm addicted to colours. A simple summer outfit for a simple summer day. A bit of simplicity and putting our mind to rest. Sometimes it is all we need. La vita è adesso.

Sunčani ljetni dani u Mostaru. Jednostavni životni užici. Miris borova u zraku. ( Imaju poseban miris ljeti. Jeste li to ikad primijetili?) Šetnja gradom sa drugom polovicom. Šalica kave u dobrom društvu.  Jednostavni dnevni ritualni koji mogu biti tako značajni. Divljenje uličnoj umjetnosti. Pronalaženje razloga za osmijeh jer kao što Claudio Baglioni pjeva, život je sada (youtube poveznica ovdje). Crno bijela haljina, ali nošena s šarenim sandalama s punom petom jer kao što znate ovisna sam o boji. Jednostavna ljetna kombinacija za jednostavan ljetni dan. Malo jednostavnosti i odmaranje misli. Ponekad je to sve što trebamo. La vita è adesso.

    Ne mogu se više složiti sa svime napisanim. Takve sitnice su zapravo sve što nam treba, makar nama koji cenimo takve trenutke i radujemo se istim ;)
    Slike su fenomenalne i mnogo je dobra kombinacija crno bele haljine i grafita. Sad si me podsetila na zid pored kojeg prolazi autobus kojim idem na plažu. Svi grafiti su prava umetnost i jako mi liče na te sa tvojih slika. Uvek kažem kako hoću da odem tamo namenski da se slikam :)
    Da se vratim na tebe, ta haljina ti stoji savršeno, a baš kako kaže Ivana, sa sandalicama si učinila da kombinacija bude baš TI. Svako može da nosi crno belo, a svoj lični pečat retko ko ostavlja na način poput tebe. Znaš već da mi je tvoj stil neiscrpno inspirativan i zanimljiv :)

    I can imagine the smell pine trees even though we don't have temperate pine trees here. Just the tropical ones.

    I like monochrome outfits especially for work. You look great here. Very professional and executive looking.

    WOW! I really loved this OOTD post, you are an artist and I'm not talking just about your illustrations, when it comes to fashion you really know how to rock whatever you want ;)

    I loved the story behind the dress because it is true: the most beautiful moments in life are behind the simple things, a cup of coffee, a stroll around a new place and the nature :) Sometimes we forget about that and everything seems too difficult but is NOT! I also loved the background in your pictures and the dress is so versatile, I'm sure you'll be able to rock it in many ways with different accessories and in different ocassions :D

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
