Today I'm going to show you 20 ways to style a blue denim skirt. As you might know, shopping one's closet is a great way to do sustainable fashion. This denim skirt is from Amadeus, a Croatian denim brand I love. I've had this denim skirt for years. It's my one of my favourite denim skirts, I wear it in all seasons. I like everything about it really, the colour, the cut, the soft denim itself. I already did
14 ways to wear this skirt, so today I'll show you additional six ways to wear it. Don't worry this post won't be too long. I created collages so you can scroll down more quickly. All the links in this post lead to my older posts (showing you how I wore some clothing item before).

#1, #2, #3, #4 |
Two of the outfits in this collage (the first two) are new looks I wore fairly recently, the other two are a bit older.
OUTFIT IDEA #1
A CAMEL COAT AND
HEELED BOOTS, BURGUNDY BAG AND BLACK LEGGINGS. I wore this outfit last week, I definitely see myself repeating this outfit formula.
OUTFIT IDEA #2
A BURGUNDY JACKET (worn also
here and
here) A GREY DRESS WORN AS A TOP UNDER THE BLUE DENIM SKIRT, A PAIR OF BURGUNDY TIGHTS,
A BURGUNDY BAG, (worn also
here ) ,
A PAIR OF BURGUNDY HEELS.
This pair of square heels was handed down to me so they're second hand. See how I styled them here, here and here. This is the most recent outfit with this blue denim skirt I wore. I wanted to play with different burgundy tones. I was very comfortable wearing this.
OUTFIT IDEA #3 This third styling was actually worn as a first day of Autumn outfit a few years ago. It was a very warm first day of Autumn for sure, it felt more like Summer! I even illustrated this outfit, that's how much I liked it. OUTFIT IDEA #4 Honestly, I don't remember what was the occasion I wore this outfit for. Maybe it was just to take a picture of these boots I hand painted green? Yes, that could be it. This blazer I'm wearing looks great with this skirt, I need to make a mental note of that.
|
I EVEN ILLUSTRATED THIS BLUE DENIM SKIRT TWICE (HERE AND HERE) |
This outfit is a great example of styling a denim skirt for cold weather. I felt super cozy in this!
OUTFIT IDEA #6 A LOURDERS PRINTED T-SHIRT AND SANDALS- This is another warm weather styling, something I wore for a walk near Neretva. To make it Autumn appropriate you would need tights or leggings, a pair of good boots and a jacket or a blazer of some kind.
OUTFIT IDEA #7 A STRIPED T-SHIRT WITH DIY TOUCHES AND A BLUE BAG Nothing beats some cute DIY elements.
Bellow you can see one outfit I haven't shared before (#18) on my blog. I wore it for a trip to my hometown Split and if I recall well, it was an Autumn styling. The other outfits have been featured on blog before so I linked them up. You can read about them in original posts. That would be all! Now, tell me do you own a blue denim skirt? I have two of them and I wear them both pretty often. I also have some white denim skirts (vintage pieces) and interestingly enough I painted both of them. How do you feel about denim skirts? I would say that a nice classical blue denim skirt is a good investment as it can be styled up and down quite easily. Do you have any ideas or tips to share about styling a denim skirt?
As always, thank you for reading and commenting. Have a great start of the week.

DeleteYour post is surprisingly useful because we all have pieces in our closet which can be part of new outfits, ones available to us with a little imagination. I love conceiving new ensembles. My only regret is that I never look as good as you in them!
ReplyDeleteThanks, little imagination can definitely take us far.

DeleteA denim skirt is such a wardrobe staple, and if you've got a favourite one which ticks all your boxed will be a useful all-seasons go-to skirt. I have only recently found my holy grail of denim skirts, and I'm looking forward to wearing it in lots of different ways for years to come.
ReplyDeleteI really love the newest outfits you created with them, and in particular that second one, where you are wearing it with lots of burgundy (those tights!) is making my heart sing! xxx
Thank you. I love these burgundy tights, I'm so happy I picked them up.
DeleteVery fine outfits 😊

DeleteI don't own a denim skirt but you've proved how versatile they can be if you do! Love he sleeves on the red top! x
ReplyDeleteDenim skirts can be so challenging - they really need to be the perfect shape in order to be really versatile. I also love this a-line shape, Ivana - I have a hemp skirt that is nearly the same. Some great looks here! You painted your boots! I did painted a pair of shoes green once!
ReplyDeleteI painted several of my boots- with a varying degree of success. I still have a lot to learn, I think.
DeleteLove your hair and that hat with your fall coat! Awesome..so much style through the different seasons! Wow! about painting your boots. I would love to paint a flower on mine..maybe a daisy!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU
DeleteSo inspiring! Love the collages!
ReplyDeletethanks
DeleteWonderful inspiration! Some very cool hats too!
ReplyDeleteI love hats
DeleteSuch great style! Love what you have created around this one piece.
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteI think one of the reasons I love a denim skirt so much is when you wear them with tights....they don't cling. Makes me want to pull mine out now!!
