Travel with My Art #54: Maslinica bay, island Hvar Croatia
Hello dear readers and welcome to my 54th Travel art post! In this post, I'll share another seascape painting created for my 'Travel With My Art' series (one of the most fun series on my blog if I may say so myself). This time I'll take you to Maslinica bay in Stari Grad (island Hvar, Croatia). The medium for this painting is acrylics paints on canvas. I used one of my own videos as a reference. I have been working on this Maslinica seascape for six months if not more. Yes, it really took me that long! The reasons why this painting took such a long time to finish are numerous. First of all, I was working with different art supplies than I'm used to. So, I spent a lot of time trying to get the feel of these different paints and canvases. I tend to do all my art shopping in Michelangelo gallery in Mostar, so this was a change for sure, and I had to wing many things.
