FALLING IN LOVE WITH MOSTAR CITY
First of all, special thanks to my husband for taking these wonderful photographs. I have fallen in love with him about the same time I have fallen in love with Mostar city. So, I guess it is appropriate to thank both of them. Mostar city for proving me with a wonderful background to my outfit photographs and my husband for taking the photographs. I always repeat that Mostar city is such a beautiful city, certainly one of the most gorgeous cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I absolutely love how these outfit photographs came out. I quite like the outfit itself. It features some creative spring layering. I'm quite proud of myself for figuring out that I can wear this white tunics under one of my A-line dresses. It's all about three colours: burgundy, black and white. Sure, there are other colours in this outfit that come in the shape of details on my tunics (and a bit of pattern with the leopard heels) but the focus is on these three colours. I think the combination of these colours is quite elegant and perfect for transitional weather. Honestly, I felt so dressed up and pretty in this spring styling. This could be my favourite outfit of the year 2021 so far, I kid you not. I'm very happy to report that I shopped my closet again. So nice I have these lovely photographs as a reminder. My husband and I had the tradition of strolling around and enjoying little trips years before I started my blog, but my blog made me realize how I'm sometimes such a poser.
We started our walk in Šantićeva street. We love this street because there is no traffic there. In fact, I often use it for posing. Don't worry, I'm not the type to pose in a busy street and risk being hit by a car or something. There is hardly any and in most cases no traffic in this street. My husband loves it because it makes him feel nostagic. It's onle of the places in town that hasn't changed much. Now, you know the secret spot where to pose for awesome pics in Mostar city. Should you visit Mostar, you will be all set. I have revealed all the best (and lesser known) spots in this place. In case you want to see more, read my guide - HOW TO FIND BEST PHOTO WORTHY/INSTAGRAMBLE SPOTS IN MOSTAR?
HOW TO FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE WHILE POSING? POSE LIKE A FASHION BLOGGER! My tip is to find out what poses work for you. When you find whatever mode of posing works for you, you'll feel more comfortable and pose like a fashion blogger. Try different poses and see which one look best on you. Don't remember to have some fun! I'm not always interested in achieving the most flattering pose. The best moments on camera often happen spontaneously, but it is good to know what you feel comfortable with. Finding your power or signature pose can help you feel more comfortable posing. It's good to have some poses to rely on. That doesn't mean you cannot improvise and be spontaneous.
CUSTOMS BRIDGE IN MOSTAR - Read more about this bridge here. Mostar is city of bridges, one more gorgeous than another...and what to say of the amazing emerald river Neretva? I'm so fortunate to dwell in this paradise on Earth.

Thank you Jodie.
DeleteSuch a cool skirt. My husband will reluctantly take one or two pictures of me, but never a full shoot - you're lucky!
ReplyDeleteI only do spontaneous poses "in the wild" - my outfit poses have been figured out through years of practicing them. I test them in a mirror, then remember how my limbs go, then try to do it when the camera timer goes off. It's rather hit or miss, ha ha!
Yes, it is great that my husband is into photography. Picture taking was our tradition even before we started this blog.
DeleteHow lucky you were Ivana, you met your husband and a city you love! I loved your outfit it's really a very nice color combination, but I loved your shoes, I have a lot of fun posing for the pictures, I don't get annoyed that other people are watching!
