HOW TO STYLE PEARL SOCKS WITH HEELS? SPRING OUTFIT IDEAS

How to wear socks with heels? An informed answer to that question would have to depend on what kind of outfit you are trying to put together. If you are going for a clean, elegant or monochrome styling, then it is best that your socks match your heels. If you want a feminine or a girly vibe, best opt for some sweet pastel shade, like blush pink, cream or lavender. Matching your socks with your heels will make you look more put together. In fact, a monochrome heel and sock combo might be the perfect way to dive into this trend. Similarly, a more luxurious sock material can upgrade your outfit instantly. A pair of lace or tulle socks will blend in with an elegant pair of heels seamlessly. However, you might want to be brave and rock your gym socks with heels. Why not if that's your thing? As with any outfit idea, it is really up to you to figure out how to make it work for your style.
You can always mix and match for a more fashion forward look. This obviously applies to different …

NEW FASHION ILLUSTRATIONS: PINK AND GREEN COLOUR PALETTE

Lately I've been feeling inspired by pink and green colour palette (remember my post about creative projects to try?), and this got reflected in my fashion sketches. If you're feeling these colours yourself, you might enjoy what I've prepared for you today and that would be some illustrated outfit ideas. I might even prepare an illustrated guide to wearing pink and green in the future. Today I'll just show you my newest fashion drawings, but if you'd be interested in seeing something like an illustrated guide to wearing some colour, let me know. It's not always easy to find time, but when you love something, you make time for it. The medium for all the fashion illustrations I'll be sharing today is coloured pencils on papers. My illustrations will also be presented with my photography. Scroll down to see and read more.

HOW TO STYLE A YELLOW BLAZER FOR SPRING? A FEMININE OUTFIT PROPOSAL

Yellow is such a happy colour for me, one that I associate with sun and all things nice. Spring is a great time to opt for this colour that seems to invoke sunlight. If you're not sure how to wear more yellow, you might want to start with something simple- maybe a blazer. That brings us to the title of my post: How to style a yellow blazer for spring? A yellow blazer is a great way to refresh your spring wardrobe. The one I have is vintage, and a bit on the longer side. Lately I've taken to wearing vintage blazers with dresses, it's my favourite outfit formula right now. I love that it gives one freedom to play with colours, and it is so easy to dress it up and down. This kind of outfit can be appropriate for all kind of situations, from work to play options. One of those combinations that you can wear both for a date and for work. Blazers make any outfit more polished, and by choosing a blazer in a light colour, you'll also be invoking spring. Throwing on a blazer ov…

HOW TO STYLE A DENIM SKIRT FOR EARLY SPRING? OUTFIT PROPOSAL

Today I'm back with another outfit proposal. This time I'm going to show you how you can style a denim skirt for early spring. A denim skirt is a great classic, and it can be a lovely alternative to jeans. I already wrote down a few tips for styling dresses and skirts in early spring, you know for this period when it may not that warm. I recommended styling dresses and skirts with blazers paired with tights and boots. As you can see, I'm keeping to my advice. I paired my denim skirt with tights and biker boots. I also wore a pink turtleneck sweater and white vintage blazer. Lighter colours are a good way to invite spring. To finish the outfit, I opted for some straw accessories, that is, an oversize straw hat and a straw bag. I love to wear straw accessories to make my outfits look more spring time appropriate. Plus, I found that straw hats do really help with the whole protection against the sun thing. I love the sun as much as the next outdoorsy person, but I won't …
