This illustration has been inspired by Margot from I am every woman blog. The medium is pencil on paper. I really liked this monochrome styling with a touch of tartan print (on the collar and the cuffs of sleeves). How do you like this outfit?
Dear Ivana, hopefully you are fine and you had a wonderful weekend! I love the perfection of this illustration - what you made turned out wonderful! Thanks for sharing! xx from Bavaria/Germany, Rena www.dressedwithsoul.com
Un look semplice ma stiloso, mi piace molto come sie riuscita a rendere la lucentezza della borsa, bravissima! Baci! S https://s-fashion-avenue.blogspot.it
Thats a really good illustration, Ivana! I must say I prefer the ones that are with colours though but that's because they really make your illustrations come to live.
REally lovely, I liked the illustration very much, ballerinas are something understated, that people think don't look as good as high heels, but I love them! I wish you a lovely day, dear Ivana! DenisesPlanet.com
Your the newest illustration is terrific, I really like that you decided to use pencil here, again, you did great work on this drawing. What's more, your description of this outfit sounds so interesting so I visited Margot's blog - it turned out that she is from Poland too, ha ;) Moreover, glad to here that everything is fine with you, my dear, I hope that you're having lovely evening as well. ;)
All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
Good morning, dear readers! Today I have a new spring outfit to present to you. I wore this spring styling for a coffee date with my husband. We walked around the town and enjoyed a lovely spring day. What town you might ask? The location for the post is lovely Mostar city and the designed photographer my husband. Mostar is always lovely but especially so in the Spring time. I always repeat that Spring is the best time to visit Mostar. Speaking of Mostar, the capital of Herzegovina, one shouldn't forget other visit worthy locations in this region. Herzegovina is simply dreamy in Spring time. I will link a few up for those who might be interested, so don't worry. W HAT TO SEE IN HERZEGOVINA? THESE TWO FORTRESSES AND NATIONAL PARKS- 2023 // AMAZING CITIES TO VISIT IN HERZEGOVINA-2019 // PROTECTED AREAS IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA- 2019 SPRING IN MOSTAR CITY I'm finally getting better in linking up things. Hello! Spring break is officially over for me. Today was my second day back at work and I'm exhausted. The first day was fun, we've all happy to see one another again and all that, but the second day tired me out. The end of the week is far away, too. It takes time to get used to working from 7 to 5 again. I divided my Spring break between my favourite three places and two countries: island Hvar & Split (in Croatia) and Mostar (in Bosnia and Herzegovina). I visited an art exhibition and that was fun, too. The art exhibition was by Croatian illustrator Filip Čulić. The exhibition included his illustrations and comic book art. It's open until the end of April, so if you're in Split, check it out (more information here ). I love Split's city library. They always organize fun stuff. There usually is always an exhibition of some kind at the central library. I'm a big fan of libraries. Library membership is the best money you'll ever spend. SLJEDEĆI TEKST J
Hello! In this post, I'll share a sustainable baby blue and leopard spring styling. A pale blue might not be the first choice with leopard, but why not? For me leopard print is sort of a classic. I actually love to pair it with all kinds of colours, from more vibrant ones to pales ones. In the past, I paired it with cobalt blue . I definitely do not feel that leopard should be worn only with neutral colours. I mean I paired leopard with white, grey and black clothing items often enough, but I love to pair it with something that pops, be it a coloured or pattern item. I do love patterns. So, it's not surprising that I love to mix patterns. Back to my baby blue & leopard outfit. I wore it for an outing and I really enjoyed it. The best about is that it is sustainable. What do I mean by sustainable? Well, I mean that I not only shopped my closet, but wore most of these items more than thirty times. Mostar is so beautiful in Spring, isn't it? I love strolling the city an
Nature Park Blidinje hides a gem of great beauty: magical lake Blidinje. In the presence of this lake, I found myself overwhelmed by a feeling of complete calmness, perhaps for the first time in many days. Enchanted by its beauty, I walked into the lake. While standing in the lake and gazing into the mountains in the distance, I had a feeling that the time itself halted and the great clock of life stood still. It was a kind of mythical experience, when you feel yourself both small and great before the immense and overwhelming natural beauty. I have always loved mountains, being surrounded by them my all life. Still, there is always something surreal about a mountain lake, a particular kind of beauty. A feeling of sacredness came over me. So many people regard mountains as sacred and I can understand why. Gazing at them while the wind played with my hair, and the sun stroked my skin, awoke a particular feeling inside if me, a state of tranquility, you might say. I believe this fee
It was over 40 degrees Celsius (that's over 100 Fahrenheit) when these photographs were taken. Seriously! I'm obviously a desert type when I'm able to enjoy being out at midday in a city that is practically an oven. If you did not know Mostar city is surrounded by mountains and hills which pretty much turns it into an urban oven. Yes, this city is a champion of unbelievably high temperatures during the Summer. So, this hat was as much a necessity as a fashion statement. Wearing a hat when temperature is over 100 Fahrenheit is a sound idea, believe me. Speaking of Fahrenheits, have you read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury? You should, you know, it really is a brilliant dystopian novel. I find it uncanny how much some writers were able to guess the future, down to minute details. Every time when I ponder about our modern society problems and questionable practices, I think of this novel and I realize I'm not crazy. Some things are just wrong and that's the way it
My Sights to see, places to visit feature would surely be missing something if I didn't include this little village Goranci in the list of places to visit. This charming little village is situated in the vicinity of Mostar. I love to go there to espace the city heat. If you are into cycling, you'd be happy to hear that you can rent a bike for free. You just need to leave your ID in the restaurant Goranci and you can take the bike. There is a wonderful cycling and pedestrian walk so be sure to check it out. As of recently, there is also a beautiful park at your disposal. This park is growing daily as new things are added to it(toys for kids and that sorts of stuff). If you look closely, you'll be able to see that some decorative trees are still being planted at the enterance to this park. You can read some of my previous posts about this village here , here and here . Moja rubrika Znamenitosti za vidjeti, Mjesta za posjetiti ne bih bila potpuna bez Goranaca, malog
If you spent each day on a different Croatian island, it would take you three years to visit them all, as there are more than a 1, 200 islands in Croatia. I visted only one Croatian island this Summer and I'm currently trying to work out in my head how many of them I have visited in my lifetime. Alas, only a handful of them. So many Croatian islands to visit, so little time! Standing on my grandmother's terrace, I realize the root of my fascination with rocks. Not the precious or expenssive kind but rocks dig from earth so full of them that farming was almost impossible, rocks that build houses and fences, rocks that are testiment to a remarbakle strenght of people who populated and surrowed on islands lacking natural water resources or fertile land, defying thirst, hunger, pirates and numerous enemy invasions. I feel at home in both Split and Mostar but when I get off the ferry and step onto island Hvar, I step into a magical world. It took me a while to define t
With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily. The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Belluci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing). There is definitely a Mediterranean lady feel about Malena/Monica Bellucci. What says summer better than Mediterranean and Sicily? Today we'll analyze Malena's style and see what we can learn from her. There is much to learn! Having analyzed looks that Monica wore in iconic Malena film, I&
Hello and welcome to another feature of 'Sights to see, Places to Visit'. It's been a while since my last one. Anyway, today I'm taking you to Ston, a small but fascinating city in vicinity of Dubrovnik. Ston is both a city and the name of a municipality that consists of a number of small villages, including Mali Ston ( meaning Little Ston) that is located in immediate vicinity. One could even say that it is connected with this city. Ston is mainly known for its famous Walls, also known as the European Wall of China. Originally more than 7 km long, the Walls of Ston surround the Ston city and were (as you might guess) build to protect the city. Why the city needed so much protection, you might ask? Two words: Salt works. That brings us to is second attraction which are the still operating salt works. Ston has the oldest salt works ( saltern) in Mediterranean (possibly even in the whole Europe). At the time the city walls were build, Ston belonged to the Rep
