INSPIRED BY.... VIX

Happy 2nd of December! Today I shall share another Inspired by.... post. As some of you know, this is a regular feature on my blog where I illustrate and recommend bloggers. This time I shall share two fashion sketches inspired by Vix from Vintage Vixen blog.  You can visit her blog here. To see the outfits that inspired these fashion drawings visit here and here.

The medium for both of these fashion sketches is coloured pencils on paper. They are done in a smaller sketchbook format. I've recently picked up one smaller sketchbook and assigned it for quicker illustrations and drawings. I've been doing a lot of sketching and illustrating lately.

THE AUTUMN DECORATIONS- I did some DIY autumn decorations and arrangements as soon as Autumn started. Recently, I have also made these gold leaves ornaments from fallen leaves I collected on my walk. I just applied some gold paint on them, it was a fairy simple DIY. I already had some dry flowers (I dry flowers and plants myself). So, I made some dry floral arrangements and I displayed those. I love seasonal decor. I'm waiting for it to get colder before I introduce more winter based decorations. I'm still autumnal in my art inspirations and decorations.

As always, thank you for reading and visiting. Take care!

  6. Oh what beautiful illustrations! What a stylish lady to be inspired by! I like your decorations too. After the storms blew some pine cones off the trees we collected a few and the kids painted and decorated them so now they are the centrepiece for our Christmas table :)

Hope that you are having a good week :)

  16. Catching on this dynamic and it is so cool, actually it is a great experiment and a good method to boost creativity and improve our techniques!

There is something similar called Inktober with a daily task, have you joined? :)

I love the inspiration coming from Vintage Vix, love the mixture of the look and the explosion of textures and brightful colors (this is the way I want to dress but it is difficult to find colorful garments sometimes)

Great result as usual Ivana! Love the bright colors in the skirt :D And your look with that comfy sweater is so cool tho! You should illustrate it one day too!

  18. P.S. The leaves are really effective! I do love them. I've been decorating my music room doors all week as we have a competition to decorate our doors (trying to make the school a really cheerful, ebullient place for the kids and it has been so much fun! My design is based on reuse-to show them decorations can be made from scrap as well as purchasing new!

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
