FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: SUMMER TO AUTUMN TRANSITION

Hello, dear readers. It's time for another FRIDAY FASHION ILLUSTRATION! If you remember, I started this feature to make my fashion art available to you on regular basis. You can see some of other posts in this category here, here, here, here, here, here and here.

EN Today I will show you three of my new fashion illustration as well as some outfits. Moreover, I'll talk a bit about autumn trends. The medium for these illustrations is coloured pencils and markers (ordinary markers, I haven't tried copic ones yet). There are many autumn trends I'm excited about and while I didn't use a specific reference for these illustrations, I was definitely inspired by the approaching season.

Ho disegnato tutte queste illustrazioni senza un riferimento specifico. Gli outfit illustrati sono un prodotto della mia immaginazione ma naturalmente sono stata ispirata con la prossima stagione.

Так, сегодня покажу вам новые модные иллюстрации и аутфиты. Я использовала  маркеры и цветные карандаши для этих иллюстраций. Я также буду говорить об осенних тенденциях. Это все! Я решила написать и по русском, но я все еще учу русский Прошу, так прощения за ошибки.

HR Danas ću vam pokazati moje nove modne ilustracije i poneke odjevne kombinacije te ću malo pisati i o jesenjim trendovima. Medij za modne ilustracije koje ću vam pokazati su bojice i markeri (obični markeri, nisam još isprobala copic markere za ilustracije). Ima puno modnih trendova koji mi se sviđaju tako da nadahnuća za crtanje ne nedostaje. Vi koji čitate moj blog redovito, znate da se odavno zanimam modnom ilustracijom i da se trudim redovito crtati i objavljivati svoje radove.

COLOURFUL AUTUMN: COBALT BLUE,  NEON MINT AND FAIRY-TALE RED 

My fashion illustrations I shared with you today are quite colourful. I have been feeling drawn to blue and red shades lately. Cobalt blue is always a good choice and this season we'll also be seeing peacock green and blue. The red colour will often be present in its dramatic shades, evoking fairy tale references. Neon mint will be one of the top colours of the season, but I don't think that it will be the only shade of green present. I'm always happy to see green, red and blue shades trending. I have two vintage midi skirts I can't wait to wear again (one is blue and the other mint green).

A VINTAGE RED DRESS I WILL BE WEARING THIS AUTUMN/WINTER

 This is one red vintage dress I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing this autumn and winter. You will also see me trying to figure out ways to wear my other dresses once it is not so warm anymore. One of my recommendations for early autumn is to wear your dresses with leggings and tights. Once it gets colder, throw on additional layers such as jackets or coat. If you want to show off your dresses, you can always go for cropped jackets. I tend to wear cropped jackets more in autumn and save my long coats for winter but you can also mix and match lengths. Logic dictates that if the dress you're wearing is a warm one, you can get away with a shorter coat and jacket.

What are about autumn styles for those who shy away from colour? Well, fortunately neutral looks are also trending this season. Bellow you can see me wearing an outfit that is all about the metallic shades, silver and gold. I wore a silver blouse and beige pleated skirt and paired it with gold accessories. You can always add some colour with a trendy red bag (like I did).

THE RED DRESS THAT MADE ME LOVE RUFFLES EVEN MORE 

Back to the first outfit I showed you, the one I wore recently. Perhaps you remember this red pencil dress with ruffles? It is a summer dress but I've figured out how to wear it in autumn as well. I love to combine it with blue accents (just like in my illustration). One of autumn trends I'm exited about are the ruffles. Pleated and ruffled items are always romantic and feminine. They may not be the key trend of the season, but we have definitely been seeing them around on runaways. I still have a lot of fashion collections I want to analyze and write about. Trend analysis is something that takes time and it is something I've been working on for quite some time. So you might expect more posts about it in the future. If you remember my posts about the Dolce&Gabanna Fall/Winter collection, you'll know that I analyzed 18 trends within that one collection. Consequently, it will probably take me a while to analyze other collections and trends I liked. I have a very analytical mind and it often takes me time to process data.  Anyhow, so far I have seen so many trend I liked so I'm really excited for autumn.
