Hello dear readers! Today I'm back with another post for Inspired by... feature on my blog (that is all about illustrating and recommending other bloggers). This time I illustrated outfits worn by bloggers Akiko from Kimono Snack, Lovely from My Name is Lovely and Vix from Vintage Vixen. You can see the photo reference for the adorably chic outfit Akiko wore here, the reference for Lovely's dramatic fashion forward outfit here and Vix's fabulous vintage outfit here. So, today I'll basically share with you three more fashion drawings of fashion bloggers. That's still not my personal record. Once I illustrated five bloggers in one day- with watercolours. Let's see if I can break that record by the end of December. Scroll down to get a better view of these fashion drawings of mine.
INSPIRED BY AKIKO'S BLUE CROPPED CARDIGAN, GREY TROUSERS AND YELLOW HEELS OUTFIT
How adorable is this outfit? I love how chic this cropped blue Alessandra Rich cardigan looks paired with grey trousers and yellow heels. Akiko looks amazing in this combo and
her home is so beautiful. Do check out her blog and
etsy shop, she's an amazing artist.
INSPIRED BY LOVELY'S BLACK STATEMENT TOP AND PANTS OUTFIT
Lovely is another blogger I love and follow regularly. Lovely always creates the most visually stunning and fascinating outfits. This fashion forward outfit is a perfect example of how you can look dramatic and elegant at the same time. How amazing are the proportions in this look? Doesn't it look like something straight from the runaway? The voluminous sleeved top is paired with black cropped pants that are an ode to clever tailoring on their own. Elegant sandals and a mini bag complete this look. Such a fun outfit to illustrate! I found it helpful that there was a link to the pants in the post because the cut is so interesting and seeing it in shop helped me to illustrate it.
INSPIRED BY VIX'S BIRTHDAY OUTFIT FEATURING A GORGEOUS NEW-TO-HER 1960 INDIAN DRESS
Finally, here is another fashion drawing inspired by Vix. This gorgeous black (I didn't have adequate coloured pencils to give justice to this dress and I was short on time for shading so try to use or imagination or even better visit the
post) maxi is so eye-catching and pretty. I think the real colour is black but it's (vintage) cotton so it's a different kind of black, I just remembered this dress from an earlier post, but somehow on the photograph it appeared dark bluish purple to me. I was going to make it darker but ran out of time. Plus, I sometimes see colour differently than other people, to my eye colours change according to the light so I'm often colouring not the actual colour but what it looks like under particular light. I don't know if that makes sense to you, but that's how I see things, for me colous of garments are not fixed but rather change according to light. I'm not coloured blind or anything like that, I'm just creative in how I experience and interpret colour and take some artistic liberties.
Well, that would be all for today. If you want to see more
Inspired by posts, you can check out my last one that was
here (in it you can also find links to my older

Ivana! You've excelled yourself! I love your interpretation of my birthday dress and you're quite right about the colour, it would have started off black when it was made over 50 years ago but now has an indigo tint to it. Thank you, I love it. xxx
