Modaodaradosti is a blog whose aim is to celebrate all things beautiful. Literally translated, moda oda radosti means ' fashion, an ode to joy' and that sums up the philosophy behind this blog pretty well. Devoted to finding joy and meaning in everyday things, modaodaradosti is always evolving.

Yet another casual outfit / I još jedna ležerna kombinacija
boots/ čizme: Leonardo, bag/torba: handmade Croatian folkore bag, sunnies/sunčane:DM, rest: no name
All these photographs were taken on a lovely sunny day, so different from today. The day was quite warm, but still I opted for a rather long sweater. In theory, pairing a long sweater with classically cut jeans and a shorter jacket (shorter in comparison to the sweater) should cut us in half and be quite unflattering. I don't think that happened, though. That proves that the best way to figure out what looks good on you is to give it a try. I admit that I was dressing for comfort here yet the outfit doesn't look unflattering to me. Maybe a bit boring, but not unflattering. Maybe next outfit will be a bit more fashion forward?
With winter at our doorstep, I think it's important to make the most out of the left over autumn days. With that in mind, my husband and I payed another visit to our favourite (still not officially opened!) ethno village in vicinity of Medugorje. I wrote about this eco/ethno village a number of times, so if you want to know more (or just see more photographs) feel free to check out my old posts here, here, here, here and here. Autumn is Herzegovina is always gorgeous, and this year hasn't been an exception. We had some sudden weather changes and drastic changes of temperature, but I would still describe this autumn as a beautiful one. The Sunday this photographs were taken on was rather gorgeous, so I'm certainly glad we went on this little trip. I know I'm repeating myself, but I do cherish moments like this. Every time I step into this little village, I feel as if the time has stopped or rather like I have just travelled in time. It's such a charming place! I h…
Today I'm back with a list of suggestion of things to do in Split city during autumn and winter. There are many benefits to visiting seaside during the colder months. First of all, it's not as crowded as it is during the summer. Secondly, you can still get all the health benefits that your typical seaside provides. If you're looking for some sea therapy, this might be the perfect place for you. The climate is another thing to consider. The sea, like any large surface of water, does a great job of balancing the temperatures. Mediterranean sea is quite warm and its bay sea (i.e. the Adriatic sea) is no exception. Swimming is not out of the question and even if you're not up for that, you can still enjoy the benefits of mild winter temperatures. One thing I love about the change of seasons is that it gives me a feeling that I'm in a whole new country. If you loved Croatia in summertime, why not try visiting it in wintertime? Moreover, the accommodation is obviously m…
As I mentioned in one of my last post, I'm already thinking about what I might wear for all those festive occasions that are coming up. Autumn and Winter both have its fair share of festivities. Our social calendar can be quite busy this time of year with all the meetings, events, festivities, celebrations, family and work parties. Some of these social occasions come with a black tie dress code, so I decided to prepare some outfit ideas. A bit of formal wear inspiration for my readers. All of these photographs were taken the day before yesterday. We're enjoying a rather warm Autumn in Herzegovina but these outfits I'm sharing can be easily be adapted for colder weather. Just throw a warm coat or a blazer over them, and that would be that. That's what I plan to do once it gets colder. Anyhow, all four dresses I'll be sharing with you today are from Rosegal. This is my second collaboration with this site, if you want you can have a look at my first one here. With…
