7 OCTOBER OUTFIT IDEAS & 2 LINKUPS

Hello everyone! How are you? I'm in bed with fever, I think I caught a virus or something. Anyhow, today I have a few October outfit proposals to share with you. I sure love getting dressed in autumn. With this fall styling ideas, I'm joining Modish Matrons (fifty shades of fall) Linkup. I'm also linking this post with Mica's Weekly Wear Linkup. 

1. ORANGE DRESS STYLED WITH A LONG GREEN VEST AND A VINTAGE BLAZER

What says October better than an orange dress? Orange is the colour of warmth. It is also the colour of Halloween and pumpkins. So, I'd say it is a pretty good choice for this time of year. I love wearing this  Bellissima dress (see how I styled it here, here and here). I paired this orange dress with a long green vest (besides m last post, I also wore it here , here and here) and a curd vintage blazer (see how I styled it here). I finished the outfit with black square heel boots (previously worn here and here) and a bag (previously worn here and here). Overall, I really like the colours in this outfit. Pumkin orange, olive green and wine purple. I do like these shades. What do you think? Is this a good autumn styling? I think this outfit would work quite well for the office as well. 

When it comes to my autumn essentials, blazers and boots are definitely my 'go to' autumn. Blazers make layering our outfits easier. There are so many ways to wear them. We can layer them over a dress or under a coat (if it is already cold). Similarly, boots are a great autumn item. They keep our feet warm. This year I'm noticing that square heeled ones are trending. That is just as well, because I find this heel quite comfortable. What do you think? Do you like square heels? 

2. STRIPED PUFFER SHIRT WORN UNDER A SKATER DRESS
A little black dress is a classic. If you want to make this classic more interesting, go for the skater cut. I love wearing this black skater dress in autumn and winter time. The material it is made of is quite warm (it resembles that of a coat) and that makes it quite cozy. Bellow you can see how I styled it with a striped puffer shirt underneath (see 8 ways to style it here ), a pink bag (worn here and here) and a pair of heels. 3. VINTAGE LEVI'S JEANS WORN WITH A TURTLENECK AND A LONG VEST
This is another lovely reason of why I love autumn- the light layering. Sometimes all we need is a long vest. I've been wearing this long olive vest a lot lately. Bellow you can see how I paired it with vintage levi's jeans (worn here , here and here), an olive turtleneck (worn here) and a pair of black biker boots (worn here) and a bag (worn here).

4. LEOPARD HEELS, BERMUDA JEANS AND A RUFFLED SHIRT

I have another denim outfit proposal for you. Bellow you can see how I styled a ruffled shirt (worn previously here, here and here) with a pair of bermuda jeans (styled previously here and here) a black bag (here) and a pair of leopard heels ( see how I styled them here, here and here). 

5. OFFICE STYLE DRESS WORN WITH HEELS

After a casual styling, comes a dressed one. My next styling is another office appropriate look. I already wore it a couple of times this autumn. I think dresses like this one are simply perfect for work. Do you agree? 

6. TARTAN BLAZER WORN WITH A GREY DRESS AND HEELED BOOTS

This long tartan blazer is one of the most worn items in my wardrobe (see how I styled it here, here and here).  Sometimes I like to contrast it with prints and other times I like to keep it simple. Bellow you can see how I styled it with a grey dress (worn previously here) and high heeled boots (here, here, here and here). A simple autumn styling that felt great to wear. How do you like it? 

7. SUIT UP: BLACK AND WHITE OCTOBER OFFICE STYLING 

My final October outfit proposal is all about suiting up. Do you like the suit trend? I had this black suit tailored made for me and it was such a great investment. I wear these two items (black blazer and pants) quite often. Sometimes I wear them together and sometimes apart. Feel free to check out my old posts here, here and  here for more inspiration.
