etno selo u izgradnju i jedna stilizacija/ ethno village: under construction+ outfit post

Today I have something special to show you. Yesterday we went to Međugorje ( in Bosnia and Herzegovina) and decided to stop by in ethno village near by. I have already showed you photographs from one ethno village Herceg. This one is within a walking distance from that one, but is still under construction. I'm amazed by the design and the architecture of this place. You feel as if you have walked into a hundred years old village. I cannot wait to see it completed. As a true Dalmatian (not a breed of dog obviously, but someone from the region Dalmatia), I'm obsessed with anything constructed from stone. Photos from Međugorje will have to wait, I want to share with you this place first as you probably haven't had the chance to see it.

Oduševljena sam arhiktekturom i time kako je osmišljeno ovo mjesto.

About the outfit- O odjevnoj kombinaciji:

the wool beanie (pletena kapica)- handmade by granny (uplela bakica)
the faux fur ( lažno krzno)- bought at textile shop+ DIY (kupila sam ga u prodavaonici tekstila i dovršila)
black jacket (crna jaknica)- wanga jeans wear
the leather belt (kožni remen) - hand made by Sanja, a family friend. She's been working with leather since forever and I like everything she does. (Napravila ga je Sanja, kuma. Ona već godinama radi sa kožom i sviđa mi se sve  što napravi.)
the pants ( hlače): Fashion house Uzor (Modna kuća Uzor)
the boots (čizmice): Kiara F ......I'm not familiar with the brand, but I bought them in Leonardo, so if you have Leonardo shoe store  where you live you can probably find them. ( Nije mi poznata marka, ali kupila sam ih u Leonardo prodavaonici obuće ako to što kome znači, vjerovatno tamo možete pronaći isti model)

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

CROATIAN FASHION WEEK: MATEYANEIRA FASHION ILLUSTRATION IN WATERCOLOUR

I can't really attend fashion weeks because I work full time, but with the help of the internet I get to follow fashion weeks digitally. One of the benefits of living in digital times, I guess. If you remember, I have already shared a number of fashion illustrations inspired by  spring/summer fashion weeks on this little blog of mine ( Valentino Spring Collection 20191 & 2, Zuhair Murad Spring Ready To Wear 2019 collection1 & 2Louis Vuitton Spring Collection 2019 ). Please don't click the links to buy the illustrations, they won't lead you anymore as my art store was lost and it will take me a while to manually remove all the links (I'll explain this later on in this post, for now let's concentrate on positive things like this cute new fashion painting I'll share with you and the design that inspired it).
I was a bit late with catching with Croatian fashion week because I've been busy with work. About a week or so ago, I finally found the time…

IS MOSTAR A GOOD EASTER DAY DESTINATION? PLUS A SPRING OUTFIT PROPOSAL

Luckily for me, Mostar is an excellent Easter day destination. You see, I had travel plans for this Easter weekend, but I caught a bad cold so I decided to stay in the city I'm currently based in. That's actually not a bad thing because (if you ask me) Mostar makes for a great Easter day destination. Naturally, I've would have loved to visit my family, but since that wasn't possible, I'm happy to be spending Easter in Mostar. I've already cleaned and decorated my home for Easter so I'm all set. I've also prepared an outfit proposal but more about that later on. First I'll talk a bit about Mostar. Why is Mostar such a great spring destination? I can think of a number of reasons, but from top of my head I would say wonderful climate, beautiful landmarks and interesting history. Mostar is gorgeous in spring time. With its seven rivers and a number of lovely parks, Mostar can feel like a city oasis.

Spending Easter in Mostar is something I would defin…

TROGIR CITY (PART TWO): KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND OTHER SIGHTS

KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND FORTRESS

As I promised in my last post, my description of  wonderful Trogir city continues. Today I'll show you the city's promenade, its walls and a historical fortress Kamerlengo. We'll start with the latter, as it is one of the main attractions. Castle and fortress Kamerlengo was designed and constructed in the fifteenth century by a local Croatian builder and sculptor known as Martin Radoj. Martin also worked on some of the Gothic elements of Trogir city cathedral and later on in life he was entrusted with the construction of Trogir port. The fortress was commissioned by the Republic of Venice, hence its name 'camelengo ' that is an Italian version of chamberlain. I didn't go inside of  Kamerlengo fortress this time because I've been there before so I just enjoyed observing it from the outside. Besides the Kamerlengo castle, today I'll also show you the city walls and other details from Trogir. Enjoy.

Once again, here is a li…
