Vrelo Bune(putopis) / Buna Spring (travel source)

Happy Easter to all who are celebrating it today! Today I'm sharing photos shot at different places near Buna river which is approximately 9 km long. The interesting fact about this rives is that it has one of the strongest springs in Europe!!!

Buna is a short river and in fact it is a left tributary of Neretva. Its famous spring (that I have showed in the photos)  is near the village Blagaj, southeast of Mostar. If you ever do visit Mostar, keep in mind that there are many amazing places to see near by. The region of  Herzegovina is heaven on Earth in terms of climate and scenery! I have already presented you with photographs of many places here, but I'm also preparing more travel posts so stay tuned:)

Dragi moji! ;)

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.

Island Hvar hides many gems and I'm very excited to share them all with you. Today I'm taking you to a little picturesque village named Vrboska and nicknamed 'Little Venice'. Located at the end of a narrow bay, this tiny village is an ideal place to escape the stresses of modern life. Because of its lovely bridges, Vrboska was nicknamed 'Little Venice'. Everything from the pine forest surrounding it to the traditional Dalmatian architecture within is absolutely beautiful. The views are simply amazing. No wonder it is increasingly popular with the tourists.
This village started its life as a fishing port and its deep bay still offers protection for boats and yachts.  It is the perfect place to stroll around and admire boats and traditional stone houses. The little island within the bay is particularly beautiful. This little village has only around 500 residents. Most tourists visit Vrboska during the summer. There are many stunning beaches in the vicinity and …

Inspired by..... Tijana/ Nadahnuta....Tijanom

Hi everyone! It's time for another Inspired The medium is acrylic on cardboard. This time I illustrated Tijana from fashion abejita. Painting lace is always a challenge and I'm aware that I have a long way to go when it comes to illustrating fabrics, but all things considering, I think I did pretty well. In fact, I'm quite happy with how this painting turned out. This outfit is a summery one, but it is suitable for Spring as well. Besides, green is in this Spring.
Zdravo svima!

This is what…

Hello darlings! Today I'm taking you to Hvar city. This beautiful historical city shares its name with the island it is located on. Hvar city is a very popular tourist spot for a number of valid reasons. It certainly has quite a few noteworthy historical sights. The most famous landmarks include: the oldest European theatre for commoners, the 16th century city cathedral and the 16th century fortress. If you want to avoid the crowds, autumn is the perfect time to visit this time. So, let's have a look around!
THE OLDEST EUROPEAN THEATRE FOR COMMONERS (17th CENTURY) Dating to seventeen century, this historical theatre still preserves much of its charm. It is fully preserved and still operates as a theatre. Four centuries of continual use is certainly a very impressive feat for any theatre. What is so interesting about this historical theatre is that it was the only theatre open to commoners (meaning people who are not of noble descent) of its time.  It is the third oldest theat…
