SPRING STYLING: A WHITE CHERRY PRINT DRESS
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers. How are you doing? My life lately has been a mix of sad and happy news. That's just life. Today we'll have a walk in vicinity of Mostar city. First we'll stop by restaurant Ruža that has a sentimental meaning for us. After all, we'll go for a stroll at Bunica river. You know how much I love Buna recreational area, don't you? My outfit is all about being feminine an girly while staying comfortable. Who says you cannot be smart and comfortable at the same time?
THE STORY OF MY OUTFIT- HOW I WORE THESE ITEMS BEFORE?
Once again I shopped my closet. You can see how I wore this white A-line dress before here, here, here , here, and here. I think I have worn this dress at least a dozen times so far. A-line dresses are so practical for warm weather. They can be so elegant and chic but at the same time so comfortable. I think I'll hit 30 wears with this dress in no time. Now, when it comes to this navy flared jacket you can see how I wore it here and here. I think I've worn this jacket more than 30 times, but I will have to do some research in my outfit archives to verify it. Now, when it comes to the straw bag and leopard shoes, I might have gotten to 30 wears with them as well. If not, I'm definitely close to 30 wears. The tights on the other hand are new. I was in need of more tights, so I bought some coloured ones. Like Ann from Polyester Princess blog, I just love coloured tights.
SWITCHING TO MY DRIVING LOAFERS SO I CAN ENJOY A NICE HIKE AT BUNA RECREATIONAL ZONE- Once I finished my little dance, I switched to driving loafers so we can go for a little hike. It was quite warm so I took my jacket off. If you want to know more about Buna, you can visit some of my old posts (summer 2020 here). I've saw some interesting birds here in the past, mostly woodpeckers, so I'd say Bunica is a nice destination for bird watching. For example in 2013, I showed you a photograph I took of a beautiful bird Euroasian Hoopoe. The same year, I showed you the spring of river Buna that is said to be the most powerful spring in Europe. If, you want to see more of this place, you can read about one of my earliest visits here (2013), you can see an outfit post with Buna in the background here (2013), you can read about spring time and my love of flowers here (2017), you can read about my most recent visit here (2017), you can read about winter magic in Buna revisited post here (2016), you can read about summer magic here (2015). Bellow you can find even more links to some of my older posts about Buna and my visits to this place: April 6th, 2013 / November 28th, 2016 / May 16th, 2017 /June 10th, 2018 / January 24th, 2018 / May 18th, 2018 / March 20th, 2019/ March 27th, 2019 / September 14th, 2019 and so on....
Surprise! We saw this adorable little thing and she looked like she wanted to hang out with me. It took me a minute to realize that I actually know this dog. No wonder she just ran up to me! Her owner is my husband's friend so I met this dog before. We spotted him a minute later but we had seen her first. Her name is 'beba' (it means a baby). Appropriate name as she is quite tiny (albeit fully grown, it's just the breed that it is so small). Anyhow, this dog already spent one afternoon in my lap back in summer. I cannot believe how light she is. I could have kept her in my hands all day! In fact, I did keep her on my lap for quite some time. She's very friendly. She made me feel a bit like the protagonist of Legally Blonde. Wouldn't it be lovely to have a tiny dog to carry around? As some of you know, our last dog Abba was poisoned and died in terrible agony (you can see her here), so haven't found the courage to get a new one yet. If I ever get a dog, I want it to be small so I can carry it with me at all times and make sure nobody poisons it again.
As always, thank you for visiting and reading. Have a lovely day!
