Buna( travel post)/ (putopis)



Sometimes it is the little things that make your day...like a quick half hour trip to Buna river in a middle of a busy day...or like taking a shot of a bird (and not minding to having to take your high heels off to do it) that is considered to be the most beautiful European bird-Eurasian Hoopoe (Hoopoe epops)...and really isn't it stunning? The location  is just 5 minutes from Mostar...the Buna river...it has been in my posts before and here is the most recent edition of it.  Btw What do you think about this little chair? I've got it from a friend and isn't it really practical? The outfit is all vintage, but that probably doesn't come as a surprise right?

Nekada ti sitnice uljepšaju dan...Mali neplanirani polusatni odmor usred napornog dana...posjet Buni i nenadano fotografiranje najljepše ptice u Europi (Hoopoe epops)...zar doista nije prekrasna? (ili prekrasan mislim da je mužjak). Smiješno je što sam skinula cipele sa popriličnom petom i svojski se trudila da je ne uplašim, a na kraju sam shvatila da me se uopće ne boji. To mi se često događa kad slikam divlje životinje i ptice...nekada ispada da i nisu tako plašljive...Uglavnom, nakon toga, uživala sam sjedeći na ovoj maloj stolici koju mi je prijateljica poklonila i stvarno su ove stvari praktičnije nego što sam vjerovala. O odjevnoj kombinaciji ništa posebno, sve su to vintage stvari.

FORGIVENESS DAY BY URSULA K. LE GUIN (BOOK REVIEW AND AN AUTUMN STYLING)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective. I've been reading Maugham's The Complete Short Stories for some time now. I've been taking my time with this collection, but I enjoyed it a lot.
