Buna( travel post)/ (putopis)

Sometimes it is the little things that make your a quick half hour trip to Buna river in a middle of a busy day...or like taking a shot of a bird (and not minding to having to take your high heels off to do it) that is considered to be the most beautiful European bird-Eurasian Hoopoe (Hoopoe epops)...and really isn't it stunning? The location  is just 5 minutes from Mostar...the Buna has been in my posts before and here is the most recent edition of it.  Btw What do you think about this little chair? I've got it from a friend and isn't it really practical? The outfit is all vintage, but that probably doesn't come as a surprise right?

Nekada ti sitnice uljepšaju dan...Mali neplanirani polusatni odmor usred napornog dana...posjet Buni i nenadano fotografiranje najljepše ptice u Europi (Hoopoe epops)...zar doista nije prekrasna?

If you know me, you know that I'll grab every opportunity to don on a statement dress. Life is to short to wear boring dresses. Nothing is quite as dramatic as a statement red dress, am I right or what? I was planning on walking miles that night, so I paired my red dress with comfy shoes, a straw bag and a pink blazer (just in case if it gets windy). I'm a fan of wearing dramatic dresses with comfy shoes, it makes them stand out more- and it can make the outfit not only more comfortable but also fresh. I wore this red midi dress with ruffled sleeves for a date night in Chinese restaurant Asia in Split (HERE- one of my favourite places to grab Chinese food in the city). I had a lovely time dinning there with my significant other. I pretty much always order the same thing: home made noodles with veggies and dumplings. As always, the food was yummy. This restaurant is located in my old neighbourhood Split 3 (address: street Poljička cesta 39 ) and I definitely recommend paying it…

When we talk about travelling outfits, comfort is definitely something we need to consider. Everyone wants to be comfortable when travelling, right? As much as visiting a certain town or resort can be fun and relaxing, the process of getting there might be a little stressful. Comfort is definitely important. However, the thing is that everyone has a different definition of comfort. Some ladies might feel perfectly comfortable in a dress, while others might prefer the typical jeans and tee outfit formula. Sure, it makes sense to follow some rules. Opting for practical and utility wear might make your life easier when travelling. Similarly, wearing breathable, comfortable and natural fabrics in summer makes sense. However, what if you have a fabulous polyester vintage item you're dying to wear? You know, if that vintage polyester item makes you feel good, wearing it probably makes sense.
When it comes to summer travel style, being reasonable and practical is important. However, oft…

Ljubuški (Sights to See, Places to Visit / Znamenitosti za vidjeti, Mjesta za posjetiti)

What a lovely place this is!  Do you remember it? If you don't, don't worry because I'll leave you with two little reminders i.e. links to previous posts ( here and here).  Can you recognize it now? If you are a first time visitor, I don't mind repeating myself. This is Ljubuški, a small city in region of Herzegovina, country Bosnia and Herzegovina. These photographs were taken back in February but since the weather has been a bit on the chilly side lately, I don't feel weird about posting them now. I originally planned to post a book review to go along with this post, but I couldn't think of anything nice to say about the book in question, so I gave up. I reviewed it a long time ago on goodreads and all I can say after reading it again is that I feel the same way about it. The concept of this book is great but it is written so badly. End of story. How it managed to win an award for the best novel of the year is beyond me. Anyway, it hasn't been translated…
