Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! Happy Easter weekend to everyone who is celebrating! I hope you're all enjoying your weekend. I've had the whole week off but I actually used my free time to work. Of course, I did. I've been working on my art and improving my art skills. I have a lot of art that I haven't shared with you. I also have a lot of outfits, locations and photographs that I haven't shared with you. And a lot of stories and book reviews I haven't shared. That is alright. There is never enough time to share everything and no need either. I'm grateful I can share what I can, when I can and I'm thankful for the time you take to read it. Naturally, I'm also grateful for parts of your life that you share with me on your blogs or in the comment section.
Thank you for every visit to this little place I call my own. Thank you for five million views. I was surprised to see this number on my blog. I think most bloggers who have been blogging for a long time wake up one day with more views than expected. Maybe we can call it playing the long game. I'm not really going to talk about my blogging journey today, as I'm sure I did in the past. I might do it again when the next blog birthday or blogging anniversary hits. I was not sure what to post today. I have so many unfinished posts in the drafts, so many book reviews I started or was about to start, so many fashion illustrations, art, outfits and so on. I wondered whether I should post a recap or something like that to mark or celebrate the five million views on my blog, but then I decided to opt for something simple.
I have chosen five outfits in this post to share (to celebrate five million views), including the one I actually wore today. I spent my Spring break in Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina). All the outfits I will share I've worn in Mostar. If you are wondering whether
Mostar is a good Spring (or Easter) destination, it absolutely is. In fact, I blogged a lot about it in the past.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a rising star as far as European tourism goes. You will find it on many 'must visit' lists and it often ranks among the top destinations to visit this year. Of course, I was ahead of this trend, being an expat in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a number of years. I've been sharing posts about Bosnia and Herzegovina for more than a decade on this blog of mine. At the moment, I'm basically living in both Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, so if you're looking for an insider view into these two countries, you might be in the right place. :)

If you read my last post, you'd have seen that the beginning of Spring on island Hvar was quite cold. Some of you were surprised that it can be cold in Croatia. Well, when the whole Europe was hit by a cold front, it hit Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina as well. When I arrived to Mostar, it was also quite windy and cold. I met with a Chinese friend for coffee in Mostar, and she literally held onto my hand so the wind does not blow her away. However, this weekend the weather improved and we were blessed with sunny weather. However, this sunny weather has made me feel quite tired. Spring tiredness has kicked in. If you haven't heard of it,
spring fatigue (or spring tiredness) is a natural if unpleasant phenomenal of body adapting to the new season. There are factors that can make it worse, such as allergies or low iron levels. As a low iron girlie, I'm definitely feeling it, but I'm not without resources for combating it. Anyhow, the weather has improved. I'm returning to Croatia tomorrow and I will be greeted by warm weather. The Spring has finally sprung.

Sustainable Fashion Files- How I wore it before? The story behind my outfit!
Time to share my first Spring outfit. I'm starting with the outfit I actually wore today (in the morning to be more precise). The neutral outfit is composed of a coat and a short sleeved suit paired with boots and a mini bag. As you can see, I took the camel coat off because at some point, as it was simply too warm for a coat. This outfit was very comfortable to wear and I definitely plan to wear it again. As you might know, I love wearing suits. Scroll down to read more details about my outfit.
Outfit #1: A light green short statement sleeved coat paired with heel boots, a mini bag and a camel coat
The light green matching suit (short sleeved blazer and cigarette cut trousers)- new, bought at a store in Mostar.
I know this suit looks grey in the photographs, but it is actually a light green. I would probably describe the colour as something between tea green and pistachio green. It is so light it appears grey in the photographs. Bonus points to everyone who managed to notice its green tones. I don't even notice them looking at these photographs, and I actually wore it. I bought this suit to wear to a wedding I was invited to. This was my first wearing of it. When I got home, I noticed that it was ripped. So much for the quality. This is why I love vintage clothes. Of course, sometimes vintage clothes need to be mended, but not nearly as much or as often as newer clothes. Vintage clothes are as a rule much better made than clothes today, especially older vintage clothes. I'm so glad I had the wisdom to hold onto items my mother wanted to throw away. You simply cannot rely on modern clothes. I bought this suit in a store that sells wedding dresses, the same one where I bought my wedding dress. The quality should be better. I hate having to mend something I have just bought. No wonder I hardly ever buy new things these days. I think one of these days I will stop buying anything new and just wear vintage stuff all the time. Not that I don't believe I'll be able to save this one. I'll do my best to repair it. I also hope to get a lot of wears out of it by wearing to work.
The brown foulard (bought in store in Mostar)- this is the first wear on my blog, I believe! I wore it a couple of times since I bought it a week or so ago in a small local store. It cost me practically nothing. I love wearing foulards, I think they add a dose of chic to every outfit.
The brown leather mini bag (Borsa store, Mostar) - I'm over two hundred wears with this bag. I bought in some time in 2010 or 2011, so it actually predates this blog.
....
The Black Heeled Platform Boots (from Retro store Mostar)
7) The outfit I'm wearing here
8) The second outfit I'll share after this one
The short camel coat-- I'm over thirty wears with this coat. In fact, this is my 45th wear. I even illustrated it! Taken in account how many documented wears I have, this camel coat has paid itself off and then some. I don't post all of my outfits and many in fact stay undocumented, a real number of wears must be close to one hundred by now. Oh, we do love a good camel coat. 45) The outfit I'm sharing today!
Sunglasses (DM) - I think this is the first wear on my blog. I actually buy most of my sunglasses in DM. I don't like fancy sunglasses because I worry that I will break them.
That would be the story of the outfit I wore today. There are some new stuff that I hope I'll get a lot of wears off. I like the brown tones in this styling. I wonder if maybe I should try the same outfit but with different shoes. Maybe lighter shoes?

Now, let us move onto another outfit. This outfit is actually from last year (around this time, that is early Spring). Some of the outfits I'm sharing today span years, but they are all shot in Mostar, that's a common motif.
Outfit #2 Pepita coat paired with a tartan blazer, black flared leggings and a cross over bag
Black and white pepita coat
Tartan blazer
Cross over mini bag
Flared leggings
High heeled boots (same as worn above)

Like the first outfit I shared above, this one is layered making it perfect for transitional outfit. It's a bit more relaxed than the first look, but still professional. Above you can see me posing next to the Easter egg sculpture in Mostar park Zrinjevac, and below posing nearby. Both outfits were worn for a walk around Mostar.
Browsing my blogging archives, I realized I have another unpublished outfit next to the Easter egg sculptures, so let us see it, shall we?
Outfit number 3: a vintage shirt dress worn with a grey blazer and a burgundy bag
The long vintage shirt dress
The grey blazer
The black pair of biker boots
A pair of brownish round sunglasses (DM)
Grey blazer worn as a part of a suit
Grey blazer worn on its own

Two more outfits to go!
Outfit #4- A short black coat paired with a floral wool skirt, heeled boots and a golden scarf
This outfit is from last year as well. Judging by the cherry blossoms shyly opening, it was still Winter when these photographs were taken.
How I wore it before? Well, I already linked up some of the accessories, that is the high heeled boots (together with this look, my ninth wear) and the burgundy bag.
The short black coat- possibly the most worn coat in my closet.
The red cap with a scarf- I wore it before, but I can't seem to find it on the blog.
The gold Maltese cross scarf (bough on Malta)
The floral skirt (fashion house edi)
Now, it is time to share my final outfit of today. I wore this a couple of days ago, for another walk around Mostar. I already linked up the boots and the bag, now all I need to do is to link up the long puffer coat and the dress.
Outfit #5 A blue second hand dress paired with a sage green puffer
Blue cobalt ruffled mini dress- this dress was love at first sight. It cost me nothing and I love it to bits.
Sage green long puffer coat - a fairy recent purchase, worn multiple times already. I practically lived in this puffer coat this winter.

I wrote a lot about Easter and sustainable Easter in particular on my blog, so if that interests you, you can find the links above. For this Easter, we boiled eggs in wine. I added some blueberry tea to make some of them darker. The eggs turned out well.
As I mentioned, I worked on my art. Even for Easter I did not take a day off. While I was working on one of my paintings, I suddenly had an idea to paint on eggs as well, so I did. The results you can see below.
