I feel that a yellow blazer is a great transition piece for Autumn because it matches well with most autumnal colours. Moreover, a yellow blazer is a fantastic way to bring some colour into our autumn outfits. Blazers are my go to pieces not just for transitional outfits but for all seasons. Nothing makes an outfit more put together than a nice blazer. A quality blazer is a great investment. Most of the blazers I own are either second hand or vintage. Some of them are hand made and one of them I had made at a local seamstress. When it comes to blazers, I find it easy to resist fast fashion just because I feel that older or vintage blazers are more quality made. This particular yellow blazer was inherited from another family member. It is actually a part of a set (it came with a matching yellow mini skirt you can see here). I don't often wear it as set because I rarely wear mini skirts. I do like bellow the knee length but mini is a bit too short for comfort for me (most of the time anyway). Anyhow, scroll down to see ten outfits featuring a yellow blazer.
WITH DRESSES AND SKIRTS: FEMININE AUTUMN OUTFIT OUTFIT
I love wearing blazers with skirts and dresses because that makes them look more professional and work appropriate but still feminine and chic. Some of my readers will remember that some of most of these outfits I have worn on this blog. That doesn't mean that I won't wear them again this Autumn. If it isn't broken, don't fix it- that proverb can be applied to outfit formulas as well.
OUTFIT IDEA #1: PAIRED WITH A NAVY PRINT DRESS, A SCARF, A CHIC BAG AND HEELS
This was a cute look. I plan to wear it again. When it gets colder, I'll just throw a coat over it.
OUTFIT IDEA #2: PAIRED WITH A BLACK DRESS AND DRIVING LOAFERS
This is another outfit that is so easy to put together and yet it looks so put together.
OUTFIT
This is an interesting autumn styling idea and a proof that you can still wear colour and pattern in autumn. I've always felt very drawn to tartan, especially yellow tartan combos.
OUTFIT IDEA #4: PAIRED WITH A FLORAL SKIRT AND PINK HEELS
This is a Barbie take on the yellow blazer trend. Why not pair your yellow blazer with pink and floral accessories to soften the look? Make it more feminine and sweet by pairing it with pink.
OUTFIT IDEA # 5: PAIRED WITH A BLUE DENIM SKIRT, HAND PAINTED SHIRT AND STATEMENT ACCESSORIES
This is an outfit that is so comfortable I wore it for travelling. Plus, I just love the yellow and blue colour combination.
WITH PANTS, JEANS AND LEGGINGS IF DRESSES AND SKIRTS AREN'T YOUR THINGI presented five oufit ideas with skirts and dresses above and now I'll show you five more featuring jeans, pants and leggings.
OUTFIT IDEA #5 WITH BLUE NAVY PANTS, OUTFIT IDEA #6 FLARE JEANS AND A MATCHING TOP, OUTFIT IDEA #7: LEGGINGS AND LEOPARD HEELSOUTFIT IDEA #8: WITH STRAIGH CUT JEANS, A TURTLENECK AND DAD'S SNEAKERS
This is one of my all time fav looks. I love seeing blazers paired with sneakers for a more casual look.
OUTFIT IDEA #9: WITH A HAND PAINTED GREEN TOP, JEANS, DRIVING LOAFERS AND A BURGUNDY BAGThis is a comfy look I wore for sightseeing Mostar city. It proved perfect for the occasion.
OUTFIT IDEA #10: WITH FLARE JEANS, A WHITE FOLKLORE SHIRT AND BIKER BOOTS
This is another easy autumn styling. Perfect for a stroll around time. I wore it a few years a go in Mostar, but I don't think I shared it before.

DeleteIt looks so stylish both casual and formal. Great photos too :-D
ReplyDeleteThanks dear:)
DeleteThat pastel yellow blazer is so nice on you! I really like it with the jeans too! :) I haven't worn my blazers much this year sadly - I usually wear them a lot to the office, but since I haven't been going into work they haven't been worn. I love a blazer and denim combo but it feels a bit dressed up for the school pick up and drop off, and it's getting a bit too warm for a layer like that now here anyway!
ReplyDeleteHope your week is off to a good start :)
Away From Blue
Thank you Mica.
DeleteMy oh my, you've managed to wear it in so many different guises! My favourite style is the white broderie anglaise blouse and jeans- so cool!
ReplyDeleteI agree about quality blazers. I actually think I've only ever bought one blazer brand new and that was one from Oasis when I was a teen and needed an interview suit. Last time I went for an interview this Summer, I wore a navy floral Summer dress- I'm so different now! I don't think I could wear a proper suit! I have a few knitted blazers which I quite like.
I still like formal suits but I like dresses too...just as much. It will be hard for me to decide what to wear for my future job interviews.
DeleteGreat jacket! *__*

DeleteHi
ReplyDeleteFor me a blazer can make all the difference in an outfit. And I agree with you, yellow goes very well with autumn colors. Nowadays I like to wear dresses and skirts more than a complete suit, it reminds me of the times when I worked at a bank and had to wear a suit, I didn't wear a blazer for years, only recently I started again because I choose models that are not so formal !!
You look very chic in that yellow blazer!

DeleteYour yellow blazer is such a nice way to inject some vibrant color into your autumn outfits. I agree that a quality blazer is a great investment as it is a piece that is both versatile and classic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rowena.
DeleteI love wearing a blazer in a more youthful and stripped-down way. I loved their combinations, they were great!

DeleteI love blazers too, and like you I prefer vintage or second hand ones, which most of mine are. My favourite outfit is the one with the printed dress and tights. But it looks great with jeans too! Have a lovely week, Ivana xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteDearest Ivana,
ReplyDeleteyou look great in your yellow blazer - and you've found so many beautiful ways to combine the blazer again and again!
There is currently a summer review on my blog, but I've just returned from a short fall vacation. I will report about it soon :-)

Wow, Ivana!!
ReplyDeleteI just love yellow to start with and then all of the ways that you combined it just made me so happy. It's always sad to me when people say they can't wear yellow, but you have shown how it can work with so much.

DeleteDear Ivana,
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect piece! Been looking for a colorful blazer and I haven't been lucky enough to find it. Recently I ordered one in green lime but unfortunately the fitting was not the best for me so I had to return it :(
But your options seems to cool! Would like to have a similar one.... obviously it is a tricky color to style but you did a very cool job that is realistic and fashionable above all! Loved all the options, from the most casual to the most elegant, but the one with the black pants and the printed shoes is my favorite because is minimal but with bold colors and an elegant silhouette!
Let me know if you find a similar blazer for me!

Thank you so much dear Pablo, I hope you'll be able to find it!
DeleteI can see the quality of this blazer from your pictures - it looks like a cotton/linen blend? The colour is a little light for me - that yellow washes me out, and as you know, I like my colours bright! I tend to shift to autumn versions of my summer colours, so I wear a lot of mustard yellow this time of year.
ReplyDeleteHere's to vintage blazers, the workhorses of every wardrobe! I hope you are having a good week, Ivana!
Thank you Sheila. I think it's some kind of a cotton blend. The label doesn't say but it feels like cotton. I often hear that pastel yellow isn't good for my skin tone, but I love wearing it so I stick with it.
DeleteI love all the ways you styled your yellow blazer! It's such a pretty item and I love the fun yellow color :)
