WHAT I WORE: SIX OUTFITS, ONE BAG
Hello dear readers & fellow bloggers! How are you? Today I'm back with 6 new spring outfits. Last time I shared a collection of outfits was here. I typically share my outfit photographs jointly with my art, travel and book review posts, but sometimes I like to share a few outfits together in a single post. A little fashion update, if you will. You know, it was only after I put this post together that one thing occurred to me. I'm wearing the same bag with all of these outfits. Isn't it funny how that happens? I still have quite a few outfits to share so there might be more posts like this in future. There are also a few travel posts from island Hvar that I saved but haven't shared yet. We'll just have to wait and see what I will feel like sharing before, won't we? In the meantime, scroll down to see what have I been wearing lately.
OUTFIT IDEA #1: PINK CARDI PAIRED WITH A WHITE OFF SHOULDER TUNICS, BELLISSIMA SKIRT AND HEELED BOOTS
I remember how happy I was to wear this outfit. It was a sunny day after many a rainy one and I felt like wearing a properly spring outfit. This is what I have come up with. I wore a white off shoulder tunic but not exactly off shoulder. I adjusted it a bit higher on my shoulders and I let the pink vintage cardigan fall a bit lower. I was quite proud of myself of figuring a way to wear this lovely white tunics over this lovely pink vintage knit. This skirt seemed like a good option as well and since it was a bit fresh I wore it with boots. I also wore a red floral choker necklace I designed and made myself when I was a teenager. I still remember being complemented on it from exam teachers when I took my finals at my high school (a long time ago). I plan to repeat this outfit with warmer weather shoes one of these days (when it stops raining).
OUTFIT IDEA #2 : LEOPARD PRINT DRESS PAIRED WITH A GREY BLAZER AND HEELED BOOTS
You might notice that I'm wearing the same ankle pointy boots as I did in the previous outfit. In fact, I will be wearing them in most outfits I will share with you today. Bellow is an outfit I wore for a semi-formal family Confirmation lunch. Well, we didn't actually attended the lunch, we came later. We decided not to risk it and avoided the family lunch. Instead we stopped by later when all the guests were gone and brought the presents.
OUTFIT IDEA #3: SEMI- PLEATED SKIRT PAIRED WITH HAND-PAINTED TOP, BURGUNDY JACKET & TIGHTS AND HEELED BOOTS
Again, I'm wearing the same skirt and even the same boots as in the first outfit I shared. The burgundy jacket and tights are also items I frequently wear. This pastel green top, however, doesn't get worn as much as it deserves. I actually painted this top with textile paints. Besides a hand drawn floral design, there is also my inscription that reads- MODA ODA RADOSTI (that translated as - fashion the ode to hoy- the name of my blog). I wore this styling for a walk and a visit to Bunica river.
OUTFIT IDEA #4: A PAIR OF FLARED BLUE JEANS, A WHITE TUNICS, A MINT BLAZER AND HEELED BOOTS
This easy to put together styling was something I wore for an evening walk (and that's why the photographs are a bit blurry). There was still some sunshine but it got in the way.
I love that you repeat elements from these looks from outfit to outfit - that's the same tunic in the last outfit as you've layered under your pink cardi, right? I like seeing daily outfits - you're very creative with how you mix and match your wardrobe, Ivana!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
Thank you Sheila. It's the same tunics. I want to make a 30 wears post with it one of these days, so I'm wearing it as much as I can.
DeleteGreat bag, love the versatility! You have created some great outfits xx

Some great outfit combos here, Ivana! Your hair is looking particularly amazing in the outfit with the grey blazer, the length is so chic! x
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely Spring looks. I like how you styled an array of unique and eclectic outfits while also managing to incorporate some of the same pieces. I usually end up wearing the same purse most of the time because I'm too lazy to move everything into another one ;p
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI love this type of posts, I discovered this recently !! I really liked your looks, they have a vintage touch due to the fact that you only buy in your wardrobe! I especially liked the look with jeans!

These are great outfits, all so varied! I really like the spring colours of the last one! :) And I can see why you wear that bag a lot - a good crossbody that goes with everything is an essential! :)
ReplyDeleteHope your week is off to a good start :)

Me gusta la cartera . Los look que mas me han gustado ha sido el primero y el cuarto. Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteI do love all the outfits Ivana!! Even though I change out my purses regularly, there are times that the same one gets worn for a bunch of outfits at a time!! I think that's wonderfully realistic!

ReplyDeleteVery inspiring! Love the colors you put together. & I always love boots!
ReplyDeleteSome great attire! Especially for travel or just being out and about. Lovely blazer!
ReplyDeleteSo unique and different outfits- number 5 is my favorite one :-)
ReplyDeleteHola Ivana, hope you're doing great!
ReplyDeleteI think there are a lot of great options here and you showd many different styles, from more casual alternatives to things that can work in a formal situation or if you're running important errands :) I see your wardrobe is really diverse and has a lot of possible combinations.
I think all the outfits are really inspiring but I feel very identified with the one of the grey blazer (very elegant but you can also twist it depending on what you're wearing beneath or with the shoes) and then the mint / pistachio blazer with the baggy jeans, that's my favorite and it is totally my style! By the way I always love that you're proposing a lot of colorful fashion!

You look gorgeous! I like all the outfits and the handbag is so cute and versatile.
ReplyDeleteI love that off-the-shoulder tunic, and how you repeated it in several outfits. The first one is without a doubt my favourite, and you can justifiably be proud of it. It is delightful and a clever way to wear that tunic when it's not yet warm enough to wear it on its own and/or off-shoulder.
ReplyDeleteRegarding your bag, I can relate to the fact that you are carrying the same one with each of your outfits. In spite of my extensive bag collection, I have been carrying the same bag to work for months, switching to a cross-body cork bag whenever we go anywhere on my non-working days. xxx
Очень красивая сумочка и универсальная! Она отлично смотрится с любым нарядом ))
ReplyDeleteDearest Ivana, these are great spring outfits that you are showing here! The first is very extravagant and especially creative. You look wonderful in all of your mixes. And isn't it nice that the same bag goes with all outfits ?! (I almost always carry my favorite bag, a present from my friend Maria.)
ReplyDeleteHugs and best wishes, Traude

There's so many lovely outfits here. I really like the green top you drew yourself. I've always wondered what your blog title means so that was good to find out! Definitely would be good to see more of it.
ReplyDeleteI really like your off the shoulder top- it's really lovely. I look forward to your Summer iteration of wearing it.x
