A FEMININE SPRING OUTFIT PROPOSAL: BELLE POQUE DRESS REVIEW

How to dress feminine for spring? An easy way to do it is to turn to vintage inspired clothing. A nice blazer and a dress will always take you far, but can you turn to this outfit formula even when it comes to spring showers? I think you can, but it will also depend on how much rain we're talking about. Layering is always a good idea (hence the blazer), especially if the rainy days happen to be a bit fresh as well. Not all spring days are sunny and warm, some of them are cloudy, rainy and not that warm. Not that I really mind, because you know what they say- April showers bring May flowers. We had some rainy days both in April and May, so today we're going to talk about rainy day outfits. My  of the day outfit was not intended as a rainy day look, I got dressed while it was cloudy, but I didn't actually expect rain (or I wouldn't have worn these leopard heels). Fortunately I had my umbrella with me so I didn't get wet. Apart from my heels, the rest of the outfit is appropriate enough. In a way, the heels were appropriate too because there wasn't that much rain on the pavements. When the rain is light enough, you can still get away with fancy heels. When it is not, you better wear rain proof shoes. 

I actually like to play with prints for rainy days. In this outfit, there is a subtle mix of prints with the tartan top and leopard heels. I feel this outfit is a good fit for a rainy day, as long as it is not raining cats and dogs. If that is the case, be sure to wear boots or something of the sort. Whenever I feel like dressing up, I always remember that you can't go wrong with the  dress and heels outfit formula. This pencil dress was send to me by Bellepoque, a brand that specialized in making vintage style dresses. Naturally, there can't be no substitute for real vintage clothing, but some vintage style brands have lovely selection of dresses. This one in particular seems to have a pretty fabulous selection of dresses. I've got a lot of weddings to attend this spring, so I don't exactly mind receiving retro inspired dresses. These kind of dresses are pretty close to my personal style. If you ask me, vintage style dresses are also wonderful options for weddings. These kind of dresses can be great for every day wear too, especially if like me you happen to enjoy getting  dressed up on every day basis. Retro inspired dresses will often make for a good office wear too.

Come vestirsi femminile per la primavera? Un modo semplice per farlo è indossari a capi vintage o quelli ispirati da moda vintage. Un bel blazer e un vestito è sempre  una bella combinazione, ma puoi usare questa formula anche quando si tratta di piogge primaverili? Penso che si, ma dipenderà anche da quanta pioggia stiamo parlando. Il layering è sempre una buona idea, specialmente se i giorni piovosi sono anche un po' freschi. Non tutte le giornate primavera sono giornate da sole, belle e calde, alcune sono nuvolose, piovose e fresche. Non che mi dispiaccia tanto davvero, perché sai cosa dicono - le docce di aprile portano i fiori di maggio. Abbiamo avuto alcuni giorni di pioggia sia in aprile che in maggio, quindi oggi vi parlo di abiti per giorni piovosi. Il mio abbigliamento da oggi non era un look da giorno piovoso, mi sono vestita mentre era nuvoloso, ma in realtà non  aspettavo pioggia (o non avrei indossata questi tacchi leopardati). Fortunatamente ho avuto il mio ombrello con me quindi non mi sono bagnata. A parte di miei tacchi, il resto del vestito è abbastanza appropriato. In un senso, i tacchi erano appropriati perché non c'era molta pioggia. Quando la pioggia è abbastanza leggera, puoi ancora passare con tacchi penso. Quando no, è meglio indossare scarpe per pioggia.

Mi piace giocare con le stampe per i giorni di pioggia. In questo outfit, c'è un sottile mix di stampe con il top tartan e i tacchi leopardati. Ritengo che questo completo sia adatto per una giornata piovosa, purché non piove molto. Se questo è il caso, assicurati di indossare stivali o qualcosa del genere. Ogni volta che ho voglia di vestirmi in  un modo feminile , ricordo sempre che non puoi sbagliare con la formula del vestito e dei tacchi. Questo abito a matita mi è stato inviato da Bellepoque, un sito specializzato nella creazione di abiti in stile vintage. Naturalmente, non ci può essere alcun sostituto per i veri vestiti vintage, ma alcuni marchi di stile vintage hanno una bella selezione di abiti. Questo in particolare sembra avere una selezione di abiti favolosa. Ho un sacco delle feste matrimonio da partecipare  questa primavera, quindi sono felice di ricevere abiti ispirati alla moda retro. Questo tipo di abiti è anche molto vicino al mio stile personale. Se me lo chiedi, i vestiti in stile vintage sono una meravigliosa opzione per le feste matrimonio. Questo tipo di abiti può essere perfetto anche per le vostri outfit per ogni giorno, specialmente se come me ti piace a vestirti in questo stile vintage. Abiti ispirati alla moda retro sono spesso una buona scelda anche per outfit ufficio.

MY REVIEW OF BELLE POQUE DRESS 

 I'm a big fan of pencil dresses. This one caught my eye immediately because it of its unique design and cut. It is made of two parts, which makes it looks like a top and a skirt.  The top is in tartan print, while the bottom is in black. Plus, this dress even has a cute peplum detail and a bow. What can I say? I like details like that because they automatically make any dress more feminine. You can order this vintage style dress here. I like how this elongating this dress is. I think it has something to do with the cropped like top and the illusion of the high waist cut that is accentuated with the belt and the peplum detail.

If I remember well, I couldn't decide between this dress and another one, so I asked my husband for advice. He told me to order this dress. So you see, this dress was also his pick. Anyhow, the dress arrived in a good shape, and the belt was packed separately. There was no colour leakage when I washed this dress. I'm happy with this dress, no complains here. Obviously, it can't feel as authentic as the real vintage dresses I own, but that is to be expected. Vintage items are always special and no vintage inspired item can feel  or look exactly like them. That being said, this really is a lovely vintage style dress. I find this vintage cut to be extremely flattering. Every lady should try a nice classical vintage cut dress once in a while.


HR MOJA RECENZIJA BELLA POQUE HALJINE

Jako volim haljine olovka kroja. Ova mi je odmah upala u oko zbog svoga jedinstvenoga dizajna i kroja. Napravljena je od dva dijela, što čini da izgleda kao top i suknja. Top dolazi u tartan kroju, a donji dio haljine je crn. Osim toga ova haljina ima i sladak peplum detalj i mašnu. Što da kažem? Volim takve detalje jer automatski čine haljinu više ženstvenom. Ovu haljinu u vintage stilu možete naručiti ovdje. Meni se jako sviđa kako ova haljina izdužuje. Mislim da je to zbog toga što je top kraći pa to stvara iluziju visokog struka koju još podupire remen i peplum kroj. 

Ukoliko se dobro sjećam, nisam se mogla odlučiti između ove haljine i još jedne, tako da sam pitala muža za mišljenje, a on mi je rekao da naručim ovu haljinu. Tako da je ova haljina bila i njegov izbor. Uglavnom, haljina je stigla u dobrom stanju i remen je bio posebno zapakiran. Nije bilo puštanja boja kada sam oprala haljinu. Zadovoljna sam haljinom i nemam se na što požaliti. Očito ne može biti kao autentična vintage haljina, ali to je za očekivati. Naravno da mi se više dopadaju prave vintage haljine koje imam. No, sve u svemu ovo je stvarno lijepa haljina u vintage stilu. Mislim da je ovakav kroj u vintage stilu jako zahvalan. Svaka bi dama trebala barem nekad isprobati lijepu haljinu vintage kroja.
