Hello, there! In this post, I'll show you around Stobreč, a charming historical village that has become a tourist resort. Located between Split city and Podstrana , this little village is a wonderful destination for a stroll or a day at the beach. It's actually been inhabited since the ancient times. Starting its life as a Greek colony, this village is genuinely historical. It's so closely tied to Split city, you can hardly tell where one ends and the other begins. In fact, administratively Strobreč is a part of Split city. Regular readers of my blog will remember that Split is actually my hometown. I grew up thinking of Stobreč as a part of Split city. As it develops, it might become more independent, but one can also think of it as suburbs of Split city. I've been to Stobreč a number of times, sometimes for a coffee date and sometimes for live music.
