7 OUTFIT IDEAS FOR TRANSITIONAL WEATHER

Hello readers and happy Sunday! The weather has been quite unpredictable lately, so I thought it would be a good idea to show you some transitional styling ideas. Today I will share with you seven outfits I wore in March and April (and that I haven't shared yet). I actually have a lot of outfit and (local) travel posts I haven't shared yet. I neglected outfit posts a bit, just because I have been so focused on my art. Sometimes it is for the better because I get to share lots of outfits at once and that's always fun. All of the items I wore are old (some more, some less), so it's all about shopping my closet really. Let's get started.

OUTFIT IDEA #1: LEOPARD DENIM JACKET, BLACK CORD JEANS, VELVET POLONECK,  BIKER BOOTS, CROSSOVER BAG

I honestly have no memory of wearing this outfit, but it must have been pretty warm that day if I wore this leopard denim jacket. The weather has been changeable.  Judging by the photos, I look pretty happy with this outfit and I'm sure it was a comfortable one to wear. Perfect look for a stroll in my beautiful Mostar, or 'city of bridges', as I like to call it. Cord jeans and denim jacket. It doesn't get more comfortable than that, does it?  That's one of the reasons why it is good idea to photograph one's outfits. You get to have a digital reminder of everything you wore, a digital closet of sorts.

OUTFIT IDEAS #2: LIGHT BEIGE SKIRT, CAMEL COAT, BLUE VELVET POLONECK, POINTY BOOTS, CROSSOVER BAG

I don't know if you can see, but I wore the same velvet poloneck as in my first outfit proposal. Being that it is  warm, this poloneck is  perfect for spring layering. I paired it with my camel coat and heeled pointy boots. I think I wore this outfit back in March. I love this pleated skirt, it's perfect for spring layering. When it's a bit colder, I wear leggings under it and if it is warmer, then I wear opaques/tights.

OUTFIT IDEA #3 :TARTAN JACKET, SEMI PLEATED SKIRT, POINTY BOOTS, BLACK BAG, MUSTARD SWEATER

This was another fun April outfit to wear and so easy to put together. I never seem to get bored of this semi pleated skirt from Bellissima, perhaps because it looks great paired with both formal and casual clothing items. Plus, it is simply perfect for transitional fashion. The Ski pro tartan jacket is another old favourite and so is the mustard sweater I bought last year but have already worn it so many times.

OUTFIT IDEA #4: RED PUFFER, LIGHT BEIGE SKIRT, WHITE -PINK TURTLENECK SWEATER, BURGUNDY BAG, POINTY BOOTS

I wore this outfit to pick up new art supplies in Michelangelo gallery in Mostar. I was wrong when I said goodbye to this super warm red puffer in one of my recent outfit posts. Weather has been playing tricks, so I reached for this puffer again. I like how the red stands out when paired with lighter colours. If spring is going to be cold, at least we can wear light colours to get into that spring spirit.

OUTFIT IDEA #5: TARTAN JACKET/BLAZER, FLARE JEANS, WHITE SHIRT, BURGUNDY BAG, BROWN BOOTS

Look at that, I'm wearing jeans. I don't wear jeans that often, but when I do, it's usually flares or bootcut jeans I opt for. This pair has come in handy this month when I felt like wearing denim again. Here I paired it with my Uzor tartan jacket and a white shirt. Super simple and easy to put together. I braided my hair, so that I can apply oil to it without it looking too greasy (my anemia is making my hair dry and messy so I'm trying to apply natural hair masks to counteract that). This hair style is helping me get through my hair issues at the moment, so you might see more of it.

OUTFIT IDEA #6: TARTAN SCARF , RED HAT, MAGENTA COAT, BW DRESS AND HEELED BOOTS

Here is another outfit I wore back in March. The Japanese cherry trees are the always the first to blossom as you have witnessed on my blog a couple of times. Mostar city enjoys a nice Mediterranean climate so Japanese cherry trees always bloom early. I love the black and white dress I wore here. I can't wait until I can show it better and without a long coat to cover it.

OUTFIT IDEA #7: WHITE JEANS, WHITE DRESS, YELLOW BLAZER, DRIVING LOAFERS, STRAW BAG

Bellow you can see a proper spring styling featuring a pair of vintage white jeans paired with a white dress (or tunics) and a yellow blazer. Obviously, this is what I wore when weather was playing nice this April. I think this is my favourite look this month because I'm craving for white clothing items. Not that one cannot wear white in winter (I do that), but it's always extra nice to reach for those light shades in spring time.

Thank you for reading and visiting. Have a lovely day!

a good idea to show outfits that go with the recent weather fluctuations! 29. Hey Ivana, how are you?!

Stopping to read your blog with my coffee and get inspired by your art, trips and looks!

I get your point, the weather is really tricky in this season, despite the global warming and other things related to this, so we must still have our jackets and some other warm stuff with us while mixing them up with lighter things.

But transitional looks are my favorites since they give you a lot of options to play with!

My favorites were the one with the jacquard jacket in squares and the yellow blazer! I love that many of your looks have the 90s aesthetics, actually many of them reminded me of the movie Clueless :)
