VISIT PIROVAC (CROATIA) WITH ME!

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How's life treating you? Tomorrow is officially the first day of summer and I couldn't be more happy about it. I think we'll all in a need of a relaxing summer. What do you say? Anyhow, today I have another fabulous destination in Croatia to share with you. Being a tourist in your own area being my specialty and all that. I love to travel locally. The local destination of the day is Pirovac, a picturesque seaside village with amazing views. This place has quite an interesting history. I must admit that I wasn't familiar with it, but with the help of Internet I learned some interesting facts. Apparently this settlement dates back to the middle ages. It was first mentioned in the 13th century documents as belonging to a noble Croatian family Šubić, closely related to medival Croatian kings Dmitar Zvonimir and Petar Krešimir the fourth. Moreover, this area was foothold of Templar Kings. To find out more about Pirovac, visit the offical site (not a sponsored link, just trying to be helpful). Pirovac is located in vicinity of two beautiful and historical Croatian cities, that is,  Zadar and Šibenik as well as the famous National Park Krka.

How beautiful are these views? I think I could just stare at Adriatic forever and remain enchanted. Another thing I adore besides the Adriatic are boats. Croatia is a fantastic nautical destination. The nautical tourism is very developed here and Pirovac is so exception. There were a lot of boats and yachts out there to admire. You know how much I love to paint boats, right? So, I got my daily dose of nautical and sea inspiration. We were only in Pirovac shortly but we sure enjoyed our walk. We also had some ice-cream and it was delicious! I dressed sensibly switching my heels for sneakers. So, there is something new in my closet. I shopped my closet for all the rest, but the grey sneakers are new. We bought them in a local store in Mostar. I hope to wear them a lot and make them sustainable.

THE STORY OF MY OUTFIT
THE WHITE CROATIAN FOKLORE BLOUSE- last worn here. You can also see how I styled this handmade Croatian folklore blouse herehere and here
THE WHITE STRAW HAT- last worn here
THE BLUE SCARF- you can see  two ways to wear it here.
THE FLORAL SKIRT- last worn here (you can also see it worn here, and here).
THE GREY SNEAKERS- new (no brand).

I don't know if you noticed, but this is the same outfit I wore for the day we visited Odmorište Krka, the photographs were taken on the same day. I just switched my shoes, added a scarf and a hat and styled my shirt a bit differently. We were in the area to visit some cousins of mine (and to gift one of my canvases).

Thank you so much for visiting. I really appreciate it. Take care & stay safe!

Panorami stupendi e tu sempre molto elegante e stilosa!
    Baci!
