THE MOST COMFORTABLE HEELED BOOTS I OWN (OUTFIT PROPOSAL)
Hello dears! How are you doing? Today I have a feminine but comfy outfit proposal to share with you. This look consists of a turtleneck plus skirt formula layered with a green tartan blazer and a pair of camel boots. As the title would imply, this pair of heeled camel boots is very comfortable. A pair of shoes that is both functional and stylish? What more could a gal wish for? I opt for these heeled camel boots whenever I want to be warm but still add some femininity to my outfits. It has gotten colder all of the sudden, there were even some snowfalls in the air yesterday (the snow didn't stick, though) here in Mostar. This is probably my last autumnal styling proposal of this year. I might wear this outfit in winter, but I will be sure to wear a coat over it. It's now too cold to rely just on blazers.
BUNICA RECREATIONAL AREA NEAR MOSTAR (RIVER BUNA)
The location for these photographs is Bunica recreation area near Mostar. You guys know that I love Buna river, right? I have blogged about this lovely area a number of times on my blog. You can read about and see more of my previous visits here, here, here, here , here , here , here, here, here , here , here and here (just click any of these links ).
The thing I like the most about this outfit (besides the comfort obviously) are the colours. I was surprised by how well this burgundy turtleneck matched my dusty pink skirt. Moreover, I liked the combo of a green tartan blazer and camel boots. When it comes to my bag, I choose a simple black model. Next time, I might opt for something more colourful to make the outfit even more colourful. It is always nice to wear some colour in the colder months, don't you agree? All in all, I was really happy with this styling and I plan to wear it this winter (with an addition of a layer or two).
HOW I WORE IT BEFORE?
THE PRINTED TURTLENECKI'm a sucker for turtlenecks. It's not being self-conscious or anything, I just love wearing polo and turtlenecks. This particular turtleneck has such a cool print that makes me think of Scandinavia for some reason or just winter prints in general. You can see how I styled this printed turtleneck before here, here and here.
THE DUSTY PINK SKIRT
I blogged about this skirt twice! You can read those posts : 11 ways to wear a dusty skirt and 9 ways to wear a dusty pink skirt for autumn and winter.
THE TARTAN BLAZER
This tartan coat is one of the most worn items in my closet period. You can see how I wore it here, here, here, here, here, here , here, here, here , here , here, here and here.
10 MORE WAYS TO STYLE THIS PAIR OF HEELED CAMEL BOOTS
I named this post after this pair of boots and they are really attention worthy, not just for their design but for comfort as well. Who says that heeled boots can't be comfortable? I've had this pair of heeled camel boots for years. They were a part of a local designer collection for Peko (a Slovenian/Croatian shoe brand). When I bought them, they were on sale but even if that hadn't be the case, they would have payed off because I've been wearing them non stop ever since I got them. I had a bit of scare last year when the glue holding the heel started to gave out, but fortunately I managed to find a cobbler who fixed them. These leather heeled boots are very quality made so I have hopes to wear them for years to come. I often link up my old outfits, to promote shopping one's own closet and being more sustainable. This time I'm liking out ten outfits with this pair of jeans.
I wish I could link up these boots or something, but since they were a part of a limited local designer collection so no hopes of that. I can recommend you to get a similar pair, though. Caramel and camel are great shades, especially for winter. A girl needs at least one pair of comfortable heeled boots, I'd say. Boots keep us warm in the colder months and it is always lovely when we can find a pair that is both comfortable and warm. Plus, heeled boots are often quite feminine and thus perfect for adding some femininity into your winter wardrobe. Well, that would be all for today.
As always, thank you for reading and have a lovely day! Let me know what you think about this look.

DeleteWhat a gorgeous pair of boots, Ivana! I love your Autumnal styling with the dusky pink skirt, printed turtleneck and tartan blazer. It got a bit colder here as well, but it's supposed to warm up again. The weather's been really up and down, and there has certainly not been any sign of snow here yet! xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you. I suppose it is about time it gets cold here, so I shouldn't complain. I've already started to daydream about spring a little. I need to reread my posts about how I learned to love winter.
