How to style a retro dress in a casual way? / Kako nositi retro haljinicu na ležeran način?

 My outfit of the day features a wonderful retro dress I got from CNdirect site.  When they offered to send me something, besides this lovely item I also ordered something for my photographer and that is this set of binoculars and this monocular telescope. I can't say that I'm an expert as far as binoculars go (all I can say is that I was able to see clearly while using them) but my photographer says their quality is in accordance with their price, that is not very high.  All items arrived timely and in good condition. I'm very satisfied with the quality of this dress, I only regret not ordering XL instead of L, but that's my fault, I always forget that I'm tall. Today I have opted for a sporty outfit but tomorrow I will show you a more dressed up version.

Danas vam pokazujem divnu haljinu  u retro stilu koju sam dobila od CNdirect stranice. Kada su mi ponudili poslati nešto, osim nje naručila sam i nešto za svog fotografa, a to je ovaj dvogled i ovaj jednogled. Nisam neki stručnjak kada su dalekozori u pitanju (sve što mogu reći je da sam jasno vidjela kroz njih), ali moj fotograf kaže da im je kvaliteta u skladu s cijenom, to jest, nije baš visoka. Sve su naručeni predmeti stigli u na vrijeme i  u dobrom stanju. Jako sam zadovoljna s kvalitetom haljine, samo mi je žao što nisam naručila broj veći, ali sama sam kriva što uvijek zaboravim na svoju visinu. Danas sam odabrala sportsku odjevnu kombinaciju, ali sutra ću vam pokazati malo sređeniju inačicu.

    That dress is gorgeous! I love polka dots as you probably realise AND a swing dress, so this is right up my street! You've styled it in a really cool way and you could totally wear this to swing dance. Are there Swing dance classes near where you live? I'm sure there was a 'Swing dance Croatia' festival that I saw once! WHen we were in Split at night, some buskers were playing some swing music so my husband and I inpromptually started dancing to them!x

      I first have to learn to dance Swing to be able to join this festival...and as far as I know there are no schools nearby. My husband used to teach dance but for some reasons he refuses to teach me.

    The retro styling of this dress has such a glamorous feel to it but the way you styled it definitely makes it more playful and casual. You're so sweet to order some treats for your photographer as well. We have a set of binoculars and they really come in handy for sporting events :)
