Taking a stroll in Čapljina / Šetnja Čapljinom

Another day, another city. This time I'm presenting a little city in Herzegovina. You can  see my previous posts from Čapljina here, here and here . As I said many times, it is a perfect town to take a stroll in. It is very pedestrian friendly and quite neat as well. Now, let's talk about clothes. No, let's talk about one clothing item in particualar. Her majesty the leather jacket. It can make you feel bold in a matter of second. Have you found the one yet? My favourite one is this old thing, about the same age as myself but it almost looks brand new. There are many ways to wear a leather jacket. What is your favourite one?

Prikladan je za pješake i jako je uredan. Sada, idemo malo pričati o odjeći. Točnije, o jednom odjevnom predmetu posebno. Njeno veličanstvo kožna jakna. Može učiniti da je osjećate odvažno u nekoliko sekundi. Jeste li još pronašli svoju idealnu? Moja najdraža  je ova starudija koja je stara kao i ja, ali skoro pa izgleda kao skroz nova. Postoji puno načina na koje se može nositi kožna jakna. Koji je vaš najdraži?

    Is that a willow tree behind you? It looks beautiful! I'm all for leather jackets and at any time of year, they provide so many styling options and I love the direction you've taken this one in. I'm yet to try any flared jeans, though I'm so tempted now! Have a wonderful weekend :)

      yes, it is a willow tree indeed. I love willows:)

      Yes, leather jackets are really suitable for any season. One can wear them under a coat or over a summer dress (as long as it is a cool summer night).

      You would look great in flares! With your height, you can go for both high and low waist flares.

      Yes, it is really that old:). My husband's brother (the one that lives in Germany) bought this jacket for my husband when he was very young...It is amazing how high quality leather (in this case jacket) doesn't age at all. It is thirty years old and it is in a great shape.

    To tell the truth, I've never owned a leather jacket - I somehow was never attracted to them, but maybe some day I will find one that steals my heart. I do have a couple of fake leather jackets, but don't really wear them.

      This leather jacket is the only one I have, but I wear it often. I also have faux leather jacket and I wear that one pretty often. So, I guess I just like them.

    Kako je lijepo vidjeti sunčan dan i laganiju odjeću za promjenu :) I njezino veličanstvo kožnjak je meni najdraži komad ikad. Nikad neće dosaditi, izaći iz mode, s godinama izgleda sve bolje i bolje, a svaku kombinaciju savršeno zaokruži. Tko bi mogao poželjeti više :))

    Iako smo sve različite po svemu, pa i po odevanju, takva kožna jakna je komad koji mislim da svaka žena može sebi da prilagodi. Tako je moćna i godine joj stvarno ništa ne mogu ;) Super su mi takve opuštene kombinacije i još jedan dokaz da ne moraju da budu obične i dosadne. I sama bih se obukla isto tako, a i rado bih se stvorila na tom divnom mestu. Baš je kao stvoreno za fogografisanje :)

    It took me a long time to purchase my leather jacket and now that I owned one, I want more! A leather jacket can easily transform an outfit and it's really a must have in everyone's wardrobe.

    I can't believe that jacket is old. It looks perfectly new. Must have been very well preserved. Perfectly maintaining it's sheen and looks. Most importantly it can compete with any jackets in stores today. Fashion is truly cyclical. You look lovely, very lovely. No surprises, :)).

    I don't do leather jackets a lot but when I do it's often times with a pair of jeans. I do have a pink one that I've had for many years and it goes best with skinny jeans and leggings. I have to show it some love soon, it's been a minute.

    What a lovely city!! You really have a knack for finding the best of the best. There is a calmness about it that pulls one in. Beautiful.

    Kozna jakna mi je definitivno omiljeni komad svakog proleca :-) Nosim je i uz farmerke i uz lezernije suknjice i haljinice. Omiljena mi je jedna svetlo braon, imam je vec 3-4 godine i cini mi se kako je vise nosim, ona sve bolje izgleda hahaha.

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective. In this post, I'll share my review for Maugham's short story titled T he Ant and the Grasshopper . This post will also be  a reading recommendation because I enjoyed this story a great deal. I've been reading Maugham's The Complete Short Stories for some time now. I've been taking my time with this collection, but I enjoyed it a lot. When I finish this book in its entirely, I'll share a review for all of his stories. Until then, I'll keep posting individual reviews of stories I liked the most.
