SHOPPING MY CLOSET FOR SIX COMFY OUTFITS

Hello dear readers! Thank you for your sweet comments. I am feeling a bit better today, I found some pain killers that helped somewhat. Today I will share six outfits with you that I wore during our stay in a medical facility in Ilidza, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am currently in Croatia, but before I blog about that I wanted to share these comfortable and casual outfits. Today I will prove that I am more than capable of  ditching heels in favour of sneakers and orthopedic sandals, at least occasionally.

I love to wear heels but one often needs a more comfortable shoe choice, especially for walks. Just because you shoe options are on comfortable side does not mean you cannot make your outfits stylish and chic. Today we will combine comfort with style. We will start with three outfits featuring a grey dress of mine. I have worn this dress quite a few times, but I am still shy of the recommended ecological thirty wears. I-m getting close, though. In this old post, you can see 13 ways to wear this grey dress and in this post you can see additional two ways to style it. As you know, I aspire to wear every item at least thirty times for sustainability reasons. If I can go over thirty wears, that is even better.  Scroll down to see how I shopped my closet to create these 6 comfy but chic outfits.

OUTFIT NO.1
A GREY DRESS PAIRED WITH TROPICAL PRINT SANDALS AND A LONG SCARF
This was a comfortable outfit perfect for strolling around during a sunny day. I paired my grey dress with a statement printed scarf that I wrapped as a sort of pareo and a pair of tropical print heels. In this post, you can see 30 wears to wear this pair of printed sandals and in this post you can see another way to style this printed yellow and green scarf

OUTFIT NO. 2 A GREY DRESS WORN WITH A NAVY FLARED SLEEVE JACKET AND SNEAKERS
This outfit is a perfect mix of feminine and casual. Again, this was an outfit I wore for a walk in a park. This time I tied this flared sleeved jacket around my waist. I love to wear it that way as it creates a peplum feel. If you want to see 10 more ways to style this flared jacket check out this post.  You can also see how I wore this jacket recently with a pink dress here.  Moreover, you can see how I styled this pair of sneakers before here and this straw bag here

OUTFIT NO. 3 A GREY DRESS PAIRED WITH LEGGINGS, SNEAKERS AND A NAVY JACKET
This outfit is a more layered version of the outfit above. I basically just added leggings to it. This is a great early Autumn outfit idea. Right now, during the day it still feels like Summer here. However, both in the morning and in the evening it gets colder and one can feel Autumn has arrived. So, I layer my morning and evening outfits.

3 MORE OUTFITS TO GO! Now, that I showed you three ways to style that grey dress, I can show you three more comfy outfit ideas.

This is another sporty and casual styling I wore for a walk with my husband. It worked really well and I will definitely wear it again but as it is getting colder I will add a jacket. Now that I think of it, I wore a similar outfit while in Biograd, but that one was with heels. Apparently, I can live without heels.

OUTFIT NO.5 A BLUE GRECIAN DRESS AND TROPICAL SANDALS
I could not resist wearing this blue dress for a walk because the day was so sunny and warm. It seems you can be comfortable and feminine at the same time. Beauty does not always have to hurt.

OUTFIT NO. 6    A YELLOW JUMPSUIT PAIRED WITH BW SNEAKERS AND A BURGUNDY JACKET
This would be my last comfy outfit proposal. As you can see, here I paired my yellow jumpsuit with sneakers and a burgundy jacket.

Thank you for visiting and have a nice day!

  5. I'm loving the simplicity of that grey dress which makes it even more versatile. My favourite styling by far is the first one, with the pareo style scarf, which is absolutely brilliant.
I'm also loving the yellow jumpsuit paired with the burgundy jacket, and of course your blue Grecian dress is as stunning as always! xxx

  7. I find it so frustrating that people so often think that comfy = casual and dressy = uncomfortable. It is not just one or the other, as you have clearly shown here, Ivana! We can be very comfy but still look nice. I am going more and more to flatter shoes and fewer heels as I get older, but I will never give up a dressy style!

    Love these fun outfits!
