A FEMININE DRESS LAYERED WITH A BLAZER AND AN OVERSIZE COAT (AUTUMN OUTFIT)
Who says we cannot dress colourfully once the weather gets colder? If you like colour, there is no reason why you shouldn't wear colour in Autumn and Winter. Today I'm showing you two things: how to wear colour and how to layer your outfits for cold weather. As you can see, there are a couple of layers to my outfit. First there is this pastel blue Amadeus dress I bought in summer. Speaking of this dress, here is an idea- why not wear your summer dresses in Autumn as well? I loved wearing this dress during the summer, so I decided to wear it this Autumn as well. The obvious solution is layering. First layer is the icy blue dress and the turquoise tights. Tights are a must for me once weather gets cold. My second layer is the scarlet red blazer. Blazers are a great idea if you want to keep your outfits elegant but still add another layer. What I loved about the pairing of this scarlet red blazer and the icy blue dress is the contrast between the colours. The final layer was a wool coat. The pepita pattern on this coat is black and white but from afar, it looks grey so I often refer to it as my great coat. As for the heels shoes and the mini bag, I must admit that I didn't really pay attention to colour, I just wanted something that would match the feminine vibe of this outfit. This pair of heels is very comfortable and the mini bag is very light and practical. Scroll down to see and read more...

THE SPANISH SQUARE- ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SPOTS IN MOSTAR CITY
Spanish square is one of most beautiful squares in Mostar. It is dominated by a historical school building founded during the time this city belonged to Austro-Hungarian Empire. This is probably my favourite building in Mostar. It was build in 1890ties. It is know as Old Gymnasium (because it really is old) but it is actually called Gymnasium Mostar.

Looks amazing and I love the blue and red together. And those heels are just perfect :-D
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about this pair of heels is that it's really comfortable. I've had them for years, excellent quality.
DeleteSuch great backdrops! Love the yellow building and the painting too! Awesome blues and red! Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ellie. Mostar has got some great street art. The yellow building is historical, from times of Austrian Hungarian monarchy, I love it.
DeleteVery festive! I wish I had more places to wear my graphic tees, but it's a NO NO where I work. I have been reprimanded for my tights too colorful. So dressing for work I sometimes I feel I must be going to the nunnery. Love the red blazer with the blue outfit! Oh so fetching! Thanks so much for your comment. All the best to a wonderful November!
ReplyDeleteYes, it can be tricky when they are dress codes at work.
Delete*there are
DeleteI just love the colorful tights Ivana. It's absolutely refreshing to see women wearing skirts and dresses even in the winter. I try to wear them too, but sometimes I get out of the habit.

ReplyDeletethat's understandable.
DeleteWhat a great outfits Dear friend! I wholy agree with you, autumn or winter is really not important! these clothes fit you very well and you look great. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteDear Ivana, I love your feminine outfit! This dress is so cute. You may remember that I love pleated skirts so much and that's why I particularly like this dress. I think you chose the layers brilliantly. The red blazer and the grey coat go perfectly with it and the icing on the cake are the turquoise tights. You look lovely.

That's such a gorgeous outfit, Ivana! The contrast of the pale, icy blue dress and the red blazer is delightful. The turquoise tights are perfect with it too, as are those wonderful shoes. I always wear colour, no matter the season, and think it's especially effective during the darker months. I can't understand why people prefer to wear dark, moody colours in Winter and thus add to the overall gloom! I also cannot live without my tights during the colder season and have a rainbow of them in my closet! Wishing you a lovely evening and Sunday, Ivana! xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the look! :)

I agree that a summer dress works good in Autumn too, especially on a sunny day. I like the red blazer a lot and it works beautifully with the blue dress. xx

Divan post. 🤗

Pale blue and bright red are a great combination and YES to Autumn colour. I resent being told I have to wear boring dull colours by some arbitrary fashion person so I firmly agree!
ReplyDeleteAlso agree about wearing Summer clothes in the Autumn- always lovely to find more uses for our clothes!x
I always love blue and red together and this outfit is a great example of why the combo works so well in any shades! :) I agree it's easy to layer up summer dresses for cooler weather and get more wear from them year-round :)
ReplyDeleteHope that you had a wonderful weekend. We had a great one staying at Sea World on the Gold Coast :)

A veritable rainbow of colour, you look fabulous! xxx
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely slaying it, lovely lady! What a fresh, punchy colour combo. It speaks as much to wintertime as it does to pristinely blue summer skies smiling down on lush gardens of roses and strawberries.
