FIVE EASY CHIC SUMMER OUTFIT IDEAS THAT DON'T INVOLVE DRESSES

Today I'll share with you five simple summer outfit ideas that you can wear for a number of occasions and that don't involve dresses. A nice dress is always a fantastic option for summer but there are other chic options as well. Summer can be as busy as any season and sometimes you just want to keep things simple. We'll start with a summer outfit featuring a printed yellow jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are great for when you're in a hurry. Moreover, jumpsuits can be easily layered with a vest, blazer or an oversize scarf. You can dress them up with heels, like it did here or you can go more casual. Yellow is such a happy colour, one that I love to wear. Almost every summer I devote a post to wearing yellow (see here HOW TO WEAR YELLOW IN SUMMER? 2018 and 7 EASY WAY TO ROCK THE YELLOW TREND 2019). This time I have styled this printed yellow jumpsuit with leopard heels, an olive vest and a yellow bag. Nothing is new about this outfit or any of these outfits for that matter. You know I'm all about shopping one's closet.

A BEAUTIFUL HISTORICAL STREET WITH PLANE TREES IN MOSTAR When I first came into Mostar, I have fallen in love with one particular street. It was the trees that so enamored me. They belong to the Platanus family of trees. In English they are called plane or plane trees. These trees were planted in 1889 to welcome Belgian Crown princess Stephanie and Crown prince Rudolf of Austria and to celebrate their visit to Mostar. You see, many villas in this street date from the nineteen century. This street with these two rows of these wonderful plane trees was named Stephanie Alle in honour of the visiting Belgian princess (today it is known as street of prince Branimir). Interesting, isn't it? I've never thought about this street as a historical sight to see, but it really is. OUTFIT PROPOSAL NUMBER #1: A PRINTED YELLOW JUMPSUIT, A PAIR OF LEOPARD HEELS, A LONG OLIVE VEST AND A YELLOW BAG
An outfit like this one featuring a jumpsuit dressed up with heels can be worn for a variety of occasions. If your office dress code isn't very strict, you can even consider wearing it for work.  Jumpsuits can be very chic and they are not that difficult to dress up. A nice blazer or a vest will make any jumpsuit look more dressed up and chic. Similarly, a jumpsuit can be a great option for a date or a lunch with friends.

OUTFIT IDEA NUMBER #2: A SCARF, A VINTAGE PLEATED BLOUSE, A PAIR OF JEANS AND HEELED SANDALS
The second outfit idea is an easy summer look suitable for a number of occasions. If you want to dress up your jeans, the best thing to do is to pair them with a beautiful shirt and sandals. This vintage pleated shirt was my choice but you can use whatever blouse or shirt you have in your closet. A blouse or a shirt will always make your jeans look more chic. You can go for a monochrome look by choosing a shirt in the same colour as your jeans or you can pick a contrasting colour. #modaodaradosti FIVE EASY CHIC SUMMER OUTFIT IDEAS THAT DON'T INVOLVE DRESSES

OUTFIT IDEA NUMBER #3, A WHITE SHIRT (second hand), A VINTAGE SKIRT AND MARY JANE HEELS
This outfit proposal is great for work and business meeting. Life doesn't stop just because it's summer and most of us have our fair share of business meetings in summer time. Pairing a white shirt with a pencil skirt is a great way to look business like and professional. If you want to avoid overheating, the best thing you can do is opting for light colours such as white. An all white styling can have the added benefit of looking very elegant. You can choose darker accessories for contrast.

OUTFIT IDEA NUMBER #4: A GRAPHIC T-SHIRT PAIRED WITH A PENCIL DENIM SKIRT, HEELED SANDALS, A STRAW HAT AND A GRAPHIC TEE

Bellow is another outfit that is quite easy to put together. Almost everyone has a graphic tee and a denim skirt in their closet. To make your outfit more chic, don't forget to wear an oversize hat, a cute bag and a pair of heeled sandals. Heeled sandals are great because they give you some height but you can also wear flat sandals, just pick a model that's a bit more dress if you don't want to look too casual. #modaodaradosti FIVE EASY CHIC SUMMER OUTFIT IDEAS THAT DON'T INVOLVE DRESSES

OUTFIT IDEA NUMBER #5 BROWN FLARED PANTS, A HAND PAINTED T-SHIRT AND A TOTE BAG
Another outfit that is easy to put together is a pairing of flare pans and a graphic t-shirt. Once again, I have relied on those heeled sandals. They are super comfy and seem to look great with everything.  I have painted this graphic t-shirt myself recently (using textile paints) but you can choose whatever graphic tee you have in your closet. You can also reach for a nice shirt if you want to make this look work appropriate.

  7. I'm in love with your yellow jumpsuit. Combining them with those leopard heels is genius! Runner up for me is the pleated vintage blouse and jeans combo. With its nautical nod, a perfect Summer outfit. I'm a dresses girl at heart, but find myself being drawn to jumpsuits and trousers lately. Nothing wrong with a bit of variety! xxx

  20. Dresses are always great for summer but these other outfit options you are proposing are just as practical and stylish. Your yellow jumpsuit with the floral is so pretty and looks like a ray of sunshine on you <3

  21. Hey Ivana, great fashion content since the options for summer sometimes can get limited, we just want to stay comfortable and escape from the sweat.... but looking stylish shouldn't suppose a sacrifice right?

I love all the options, they are casual but the fashion vibes are so good and they are so you! My favorite is the jumper, is so lovely and full of vibrant energy, totally ideal and I'd say you can even wear it in different season, maybe adding a denim jacket during spring or fall? That would be great!

The option with the printed shirt is so cool, I have a similar one!

I have also seen a lot of OOTD options but with a light scarf, it can be used as an accessory for the head but also as a top!

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
