Spring To Summer Transition: Outfit Proposal, LDB Worn With Black Leggings and Brown Sandals

Spring To Summer Transition is probably the least talked about seasonal transition. True, depending on where you live the transition between spring and summer may not be that dramatic. If you live in a warmer climate, you might not notice the transition at all. Even in a colder climate, summer and spring temperatures might be quite similar. Anyhow, weather isn't completely dependable these days. Even if it the weather was more stable and dependable, seasonal changes are more than just a temperature change. I guess that Summer is, for many of us, a feeling. Yes, a feeling. It is only lately that I've been feeling that the Summer has finally began. For me the Summer goes beyond the warm temperatures.  We've had summer temperatures for a while now, and even with all the daily showers we have been experiencing lately, one could claim that the summer arrived a while ago.

Tell me, how do you dress during summertime? What feelings does Summer invoke in you? Do you prefer Spring to Summer or the other way around? What is the difference between spring and summer dressing at all? I feel like summer style is a bit more relaxed. Do you? This outfit could be characterized as something in between. I'm wearing a really fun LDB but I paired it with black leggings. Instead of the belt, I tied a scarf, a little styling trick I use often. The necklace I'm wearing is my own design, the earrings and the hair pin are hand made, a gift from blogger friend Natalia (you can check out her blog here).

When you find a tablecloth that matches your new bag, you have to take a photograph of it. I do love this shade. All of these photographs were taken in Romance restaurant, located in vicinity of Mostar city. If you ever found yourself in the area, do pay it a visit. Both the inner and the outside design of the restaurant is extremely beautiful. In general, it could be said that most of the restaurant in Herzegovina have that luxurious feel. However, despite the fact that the restaurants here look expensive, the prices are actually quite affordable. If you decide to visit Herzegovina, dinning is definitely something you should try. The gastro scene in this country is great. I was planning to put together a little gastro guide. Let me know in the comments if you interested in reading something like that. I love how in Herzegovina, everyone is really into inner design and architecture. People put in so much time and money to make their homes and business look beautiful. Considering that the state isn't really putting much effort into improving infrastructure or doing proper urban planning and development (bad roads in the country are legendary), it is nice that people themselves are being proactive. Sometimes you need to create your own beauty, if you know what I mean. You can just wait for it to happen.  Speaking of inner design and architecture, thank you so much for all the lovely feedback you left on my last 'Project House' post.

  1. What a cute bag and outfit! I love the ruffles on the skirt of your dress, and that belt works perfectly with it, as does the statement necklace. It's winter here now, summer has definitely ended!

Hope that you are having a great week so far! :)

  11. You can’t go wrong with the classics, I love black on black styling. It’s timeless and incredibly versatile. I wish we had a bit more of summer in London, it’s just not worth investing too much in summery fashion. As long as I have my umbrella with me 😂

  21. This is a quite nice outfit sporting the dress, leggings, and sandals. So I say you styled this one well. This outfit is nothing over-the-top or fancy. Instead, it is a fairly casual yet chic outfit.

By the way, and so I don't forget, I like this blog layout change for this fine blog. I should have mentioned that when I came back to this blog after a great amount of time away from it.

  22. "Tell me, how do you dress during summertime?" - i would wearing your look, no question. leggings are always great on femals. you love leggings, i love leggings. i could wearing all the time this nice piece of fashion.

even on hot summer days, i wear always a pantyhose - i hate naked legs and i would never wearing shoes barefeet. but, of course, a nice summer dress or even a simple pants are also great styles for summertime. in combo to a top or blouse.

i never really like summetime, because of the hot weather. but after the summer comes autumn - my favorite season. my anticipation for autumn is over the top...;-)

FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: INSPIRED BY SUMMER STYLE

Time for another FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY! Today I'll share four fashion illustrations with you. The medium for all these four illustrations is coloured pencils on A4 regular printing paper.  The materials used weren't anything fancy, but I still wanted to share these. I drew two of these sketches without a specific reference. The outfits illustrated were a product of my imagination. However, the other two fashion illustrations were drawn with a reference. I was inspired by two fashion bloggers and I drew the summer outfits they were wearing. The illustrations are drawn in classical proportions, not elongated ones that I often use for fashion sketches. I do draw in different styles, sometimes the choice of style depends on the artistic effect I'm going to and sometimes just on  my mood (especially when I'm not doing anything particulary ambitious). HOW I GOT INSPIRED BY D&G AUTUMN/WINTER 2019/2020 COLLECTION? (PART 1)

Yesterday I finally took the the time to watch (and listen) to the Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2019/2020 collection. The runaway show was organized in retro style and lasted about half and hour. Instead of music, it featured a British narrator who commented on the designs in the old style (that is how fashion shows used to be presented, narrated instead of accompanied by the music). Anyhow, I found the both the narration and the narrator charming. The fact that the narrator pointed out all the materials used was quite helpful. The models seemed to move quite quickly, but there were 127 looks displayed so the show took a quite some time to finish. It took me twice as long to study the photographs as to see the show. The trend analysis took even more time. However, that time was not spent in vain for I was finally inspired to ponder my autumn and winter outfits. What do you know? D&G Autumn/Winter collection gave me plenty of inspiration for the colder season ahead. I don'…

14 WAYS TO STYLE ONE BLUE DENIM SKIRT: SUSTAINABLE FASHION FILES

Sustainable fashion is such a hot topic right now, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned into a fashion revolution. More and more people are trying to minimize their carbon print by re-wearing their clothes and shopping their closets. One good way to build a functioning wardrobe you'll love to shop is to make sure you have a couple of essential items in it. These basic pieces can help you shop your closet more easily and become more sustainable in your fashion choices. A denim skirt is one such classical and essential item.  Today I'll show you ten ways to style a denim skirt. I had this particular denim skirt for a couple of years, it's by Croatian denim brand Amadeus (not sponsored) that I can recommend for its quality denim. For me this skirt is one of those items that are season-less and by that I mean those clothing items that can be worn in any season. If you're creative enough, you can figure out a way to wear most of your clothes in any season, but some ite…
