Spring To Summer Transition: Outfit Proposal, LDB Worn With Black Leggings and Brown Sandals

Spring To Summer Transition is probably the least talked about seasonal transition. True, depending on where you live the transition between spring and summer may not be that dramatic. If you live in a warmer climate, you might not notice the transition at all. Even in a colder climate, summer and spring temperatures might be quite similar. Anyhow, weather isn't completely dependable these days. Even if it the weather was more stable and dependable, seasonal changes are more than just a temperature change. I guess that Summer is, for many of us, a feeling. Yes, a feeling. It is only lately that I've been feeling that the Summer has finally began. For me the Summer goes beyond the warm temperatures.  We've had summer temperatures for a while now, and even with all the daily showers we have been experiencing lately, one could claim that the summer arrived a while ago.

Tell me, how do you dress during summertime? What feelings does Summer invoke in you? Do you prefer Spring to Summer or the other way around? What is the difference between spring and summer dressing at all? I feel like summer style is a bit more relaxed. Do you? This outfit could be characterized as something in between. I'm wearing a really fun LDB but I paired it with black leggings. Instead of the belt, I tied a scarf, a little styling trick I use often. The necklace I'm wearing is my own design, the earrings and the hair pin are hand made, a gift from blogger friend Natalia (you can check out her blog here).

When you find a tablecloth that matches your new bag, you have to take a photograph of it. I do love this shade. All of these photographs were taken in Romance restaurant, located in vicinity of Mostar city. If you ever found yourself in the area, do pay it a visit. Both the inner and the outside design of the restaurant is extremely beautiful. In general, it could be said that most of the restaurant in Herzegovina have that luxurious feel. However, despite the fact that the restaurants here look expensive, the prices are actually quite affordable. If you decide to visit Herzegovina, dinning is definitely something you should try. The gastro scene in this country is great. I was planning to put together a little gastro guide. Let me know in the comments if you interested in reading something like that. I love how in Herzegovina, everyone is really into inner design and architecture. People put in so much time and money to make their homes and business look beautiful. Considering that the state isn't really putting much effort into improving infrastructure or doing proper urban planning and development (bad roads in the country are legendary), it is nice that people themselves are being proactive. Sometimes you need to create your own beauty, if you know what I mean. You can just wait for it to happen.  Speaking of inner design and architecture, thank you so much for all the lovely feedback you left on my last 'Project House' post.

  1. What a cute bag and outfit! I love the ruffles on the skirt of your dress, and that belt works perfectly with it, as does the statement necklace. It's winter here now, summer has definitely ended!

  10. You can’t go wrong with the classics, I love black on black styling. It’s timeless and incredibly versatile. I wish we had a bit more of summer in London, it’s just not worth investing too much in summery fashion. As long as I have my umbrella with me 😂

  19. This is a quite nice outfit sporting the dress, leggings, and sandals. So I say you styled this one well. This outfit is nothing over-the-top or fancy. Instead, it is a fairly casual yet chic outfit.

By the way, and so I don't forget, I like this blog layout change for this fine blog. I should have mentioned that when I came back to this blog after a great amount of time away from it.

  20. "Tell me, how do you dress during summertime?" - i would wearing your look, no question. leggings are always great on femals. you love leggings, i love leggings. i could wearing all the time this nice piece of fashion.

even on hot summer days, i wear always a pantyhose - i hate naked legs and i would never wearing shoes barefeet. but, of course, a nice summer dress or even a simple pants are also great styles for summertime. in combo to a top or blouse.

i never really like summetime, because of the hot weather. but after the summer comes autumn - my favorite season. my anticipation for autumn is over the top...;-)
