Floral dress (outfit post) / Cvjetna haljina (odjevna objava)

How to wear a floral summer dress in winter? Well, you might wear a long cardigan over it and a simple black coat on top of that. For a bit of colour, you might accessorize with a light green scarf and a pair of sunglasses. I would say it is as good way as any. What do you think?

Time to say goodbye to February. The photographs were taken closer to the start of February than to the end of this month, but they will serve just fine. The weather is pretty much the same. Quite warm, but not enough to leave your coat at home, hence this outfit still feels relevant to me.

* I missed you guys! I haven't been able to keep up with your blogs this week, I've only started answering comments today and I'll be catching up with them tomorrow.

Kako nositi cvjetnu šarenu haljinu zimi? Mogli biste nositi dugi karigan preko nje i jednostavan crni kaputić preko.

  8. I find it really difficult to keep up with reading all of the blogs I want to, commenting and then trying to respond to the comments left on mine. I started off with great intentions but am struggling to manage it all now. You look great in the dark florals and its a perfect outfit for a day that is so sunny and yet is still winter. Our weather is very much like that too though March can turn around and be rather wet and yucky. xo

  9. Such a lovely dress and paired so well with the scarf. So nice to get a little closer look at your tights in shot 2, but still dream of an even closer one :) Maybe one day! You look lovely and I totally identify with the busy thing. It eats at me not to have time to answer the nice comments on my blog, I used to. But I always do make sure and answer on the blog of the person who sent it at least. Eases my guilt :) xoxo

  11. Some flowers in winter are good, they are real mood boosters: cheer up, add colour, remind of sunny and warm spring days. Your floral dress looks fantastic worn in a company of a cardi and a coat. I like the addition of a green scarf too.

  37. Divna!

  42. looking great on your floral dress dear! you look so sweet and feminine! I love florals! it's actually one of my favorite prints of all time. How you style your dress is almost the same as how I style mine. Although I wear cardigan instead of a coat because of our very hot weather lol hehehe

TWO WAYS TO STYLE A SCARF (SUSTAINABLE FASHION FILES)

Today I'll show you two ways to style a scarf: one is by wrapping it around your headband and the other by using it as a belt for your dress.  I'm also going to link up old posts with more ideas for styling this scarf, offering you about a dozen ideas. The first idea is a common one. Wearing a belt around your dress is an easy way to accentuate your waist. The other outfit proposal shows a fresh styling trick: wearing your scarf wrapped around your headband. Yes, you read that right. This is actually such an easy way to make the most out of your headband(s). I own only one headband but by wrapping different scarves around it, it seems like I have a dozen of them.  As for the two outfits I'm going to show to you, they are both summer ones. The colour palette for these looks is pretty neutral, but I jazzed it up by choosing printed white items. I do like the freshness that the white colour offers, but as a lover of prints I tend to compromise by opting for printed white ite…

SUMMER TO AUTUMN OUTFITS FEATURING A VINTAGE BLACK MAXI DRESS

Today I'll show you seven ways  to wear a black maxi dress. This beautiful vintage dress was gifted to me by a family member. I don't own many solid black maxi dresses (probably because I'm addicted to bold prints and colours). I do own quite a few little black dress (because a LBD is such a classical piece) but not that many black ones in maxi length. In fact, I believe this is the only plain black maxi dress I own. I find it really easy to style. I treat this maxi as a neutral piece and I wear it all year round. I actually added embroidery to it (it's a hobby of mine) but the embroidery detail isn't that big (for now) so I tend to style it as a plain black dress. By that I mean that I like to have fun with accessories when I wear this dress. I often wear it with statement necklaces I made myself or similar eye-catching accessories. Anyhow, I figured that with the summer to autumn transitioning that is going on right now, it would make sense to show you some tran…

FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: ILLUSTRATED TOTE BAGS REDBUBBLE

I don't know what it is about the combination of tote bags and fashion illustrations that I like so much. Maybe it is simply a matter of combining two things that I love. I adore tote bags for their practicality, I like to carry one with me (often tucked in my regular bag) at all times because you never know. We all know that the typical disposable plastic grocery bags are a huge no-no for the environment, so a tote bag is a must (even if just for grocery shopping).  I personally like to wear tote bags even on occasions that have nothing to do with grocery lists, but to each his own. As for fashion illustration, well I don't have to explain that. I have literally loved fashion illustration for as long as I can remember. Joining my creative skills with tote bags seemed logical! Some of you might remember that I even hand painted some vintage tote bags. In fact, you had the chance of seeing one of those tote bags recently here. As much as I enjoy using textile prints, I also li…
