HOW TO STYLE A FLARED SLEEVE JACKET? KAKO NOSITI JAKNICU ŠIROKIH RUKAVA?
Happy second day of summer! How are you doing? Today I have a feminine summer outfit proposal for you. One could also call it a spring outfit, but what can I say? Right now summer feels more like spring. Not that I'm complaining. As the title indicates, today I'll give you ideas for styling a flared sleeved jacket. I do like this navy blue flared jacket. I'm not sure whether I should call it as jacket or a blouse. Maybe a light jacket would be the best definition. I paired it with a grey dress and leopard tights. I finished the look with a burgundy heels and bag. The beauty of an outfit like this one is that it is appropriate for a variety of occasions. Sometimes I like to keep things simple.
HR Sretan drugi dan ljeta! Kako ste? Ponekad volim jednostavnost u odijevanju.
THE STORY OF MY OUTFIT & HOW I WORE IT BEFORE
There is only one new item in my outfit. Most of this elegant spring to summer outfit consists of clothing items I've had for a while. Can you guess what is new? It is the leopard print tights. I don't remember the name of the brand, but I do enjoy wearing this pair. I'm sure I'll get to 30 wears in no time. As you know I like to wear my clothing items a minimum of 30 times for sustainability reasons. To promote sustainability, I also like to link up the previous ways I wore some clothing item.
THE GREY DRESS
I bought this dress two ago in New Yorker (I think). It is a cotton blend dress that has really come in handy on a number of occasions. This grey dress is so comfortable to wear and quite easy to style. I often wear it to work. You can see how I wore it in the past here, here, here , here , here and here.
THE BLOCK HEELS
This pair of square heels was handed down to me so they're second hand. See how I styled them here, here and here.
THE FLARE JACKET
I'm not sure for how long I had this blouse, probably not long for my standards, probably for about two years. Instead of linking my previous outfits, I decided to share them with you.
OTHER WAYS I WORE THIS FLARED JACKET (AKA FLARED BLOUSE)
1. WITH BLUE FLARE JEANS
This outfit was an example of matching flares with flares and I loved it.
2. & 3. WITH A STRIPED SKIRT
I have paired this flared sleeved jacket with one striped skirt twice. These were two different outfits, though. One featured a red flared top, the other a turtleneck. Different shoes options as well, demonstrating the power shoe choice has. Notice how more pulled together the outfit with heels looks?
4. WITH BLUE JEANS AND A WHITE SHIRT
This is an outfit I wore to a historical medieval fair and I had a blast. I need to repeat this combo someday. It is so easy and comfortable. What do you think? I like how this jacket looks great with both casual and dressed up outfits.
5. WITH BLUE JEANS AND A SWEATER UNDERNEATH
This is a fairy similar combo but with more accessories and a striped sweater layered underneath.
6. WITH WHITE JEANS
Nothing says summer chic like white jeans, am I right or what? I do like how this flared sleeve jacket looks with white jeans. If you want to make this look more dressed up, opt for heels.
7. WITH A PINK DRESS AND GREY TIGHTS
8. WITH BW DRESS AND POINTY STILETTOS
9. WITH A GREY DRESS, LEOPARD TIGHTS, BURGUNDY HEELS AND BAG
Finally, the combo I'm sharing with you today- one that I have worn fairly recently. How do you like it? Let me know in the comments which outfit is you favourite one.
Thank you so much for stopping by dear reader or/and fellow blogger. Stay safe and take care!
