My fashion illustration of the day/ Moja modna ilustracija dana- greenary

Today a new fashion illustration. The medium is watercolour on paper. I suppose this one could be seen as my answer to a question that's been on a lot of minds lately:  'How to wear Pantone's greenery?' How do you like this colour of the year? Personally, I like it but then again I like almost all shades of green. I have always loved green. Period. This outfit features only two colours: black and green. I quite like this combination of colours. A monochrome outfit doesn't have to always be black and white. Green and black can be such an interesting colour combo. This combo is all about spring vibes, but with a few additional layers it could work for winter too.

Danas nova modna ilustracija.

I didn't use a reference for this design. It is a product of my own imagination. However, when it comes to the body posture, I did use a photo (from one of my old outfit posts) as a reference for it. When it comes to fashion illustrations, I enjoy seeing a bit of movement. I like to illustrate different poses. I don't want to illustrate how clothes would look on dolls, I want to illustrate how clothes would look when they're worn by you, me, us, everyone. So, that would be my fashion illustration of the day. Have a nice day everyone!

  24. I love how you created this outfit yourself and had no reference to go by - your fashion illustrations are so much fun to see and watch develop through your blog. I also really love that photo of you in the dark green dress and (embellished?) headband - it looks like something inspired by a Dolce & Gabbana editorial, showing the rustic streets against fashion :)

  25. Oh, I lost my comment :) Well, I said that you look lovely with your green outfit and illustration and that it sounds like a sacrilege to say that we like green much before Pantone's reign, that says to all the (weak) fashionistas around that green is the color this year. Then they run to buy the latest green products to show on their blogs like "1st hand". You see, you wore it before and I loved your picture! Loved the clothes of the illustration, dear Ivana, go on showing us this talent! Hope you have a nice day! Hugs!

  29. Dear Ivana, we share the love for the same colours! I know you love red, me too ... and yes, I'm also a green lover! Unfortunately, it is not always easy to find amazing clothing in green. Hopefully this will change with the new colour of the year :) Unfortunately I can't buy your fantastic look as I really like it! The illustration turned out wonderful and I love your illustrations especially because you do them as a real person would wear it! You had a good and beautiful template <3

CROATIAN FASHION WEEK: MATEYANEIRA FASHION ILLUSTRATION IN WATERCOLOUR

I can't really attend fashion weeks because I work full time, but with the help of the internet I get to follow fashion weeks digitally. One of the benefits of living in digital times, I guess. If you remember, I have already shared a number of fashion illustrations inspired by  spring/summer fashion weeks on this little blog of mine ( Valentino Spring Collection 20191 & 2, Zuhair Murad Spring Ready To Wear 2019 collection1 & 2Louis Vuitton Spring Collection 2019 ). Please don't click the links to buy the illustrations, they won't lead you anymore as my art store was lost and it will take me a while to manually remove all the links (I'll explain this later on in this post, for now let's concentrate on positive things like this cute new fashion painting I'll share with you and the design that inspired it).
I was a bit late with catching with Croatian fashion week because I've been busy with work. About a week or so ago, I finally found the time…

IS MOSTAR A GOOD EASTER DAY DESTINATION? PLUS A SPRING OUTFIT PROPOSAL

Luckily for me, Mostar is an excellent Easter day destination. You see, I had travel plans for this Easter weekend, but I caught a bad cold so I decided to stay in the city I'm currently based in. That's actually not a bad thing because (if you ask me) Mostar makes for a great Easter day destination. Naturally, I've would have loved to visit my family, but since that wasn't possible, I'm happy to be spending Easter in Mostar. I've already cleaned and decorated my home for Easter so I'm all set. I've also prepared an outfit proposal but more about that later on. First I'll talk a bit about Mostar. Why is Mostar such a great spring destination? I can think of a number of reasons, but from top of my head I would say wonderful climate, beautiful landmarks and interesting history. Mostar is gorgeous in spring time. With its seven rivers and a number of lovely parks, Mostar can feel like a city oasis.

Spending Easter in Mostar is something I would defin…

TROGIR CITY (PART TWO): KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND OTHER SIGHTS

KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND FORTRESS

As I promised in my last post, my description of  wonderful Trogir city continues. Today I'll show you the city's promenade, its walls and a historical fortress Kamerlengo. We'll start with the latter, as it is one of the main attractions. Castle and fortress Kamerlengo was designed and constructed in the fifteenth century by a local Croatian builder and sculptor known as Martin Radoj. Martin also worked on some of the Gothic elements of Trogir city cathedral and later on in life he was entrusted with the construction of Trogir port. The fortress was commissioned by the Republic of Venice, hence its name 'camelengo ' that is an Italian version of chamberlain. I didn't go inside of  Kamerlengo fortress this time because I've been there before so I just enjoyed observing it from the outside. Besides the Kamerlengo castle, today I'll also show you the city walls and other details from Trogir. Enjoy.

Once again, here is a li…
