14 WAYS TO STYLE A MAGENTA COAT FOR WINTER

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers. The cold isn't going anywhere, so I'm back with more winter styling ideas. Today I've prepared for your another posts that shows multiple ways to wear a coloured coat. Coloured coats have been trendy for a while and it's a trend I cannot get enough one. Choosing winter outwear that works for you is so important in embracing winter fashion. If you remember, I already blogger about 30 ways to wear a short black coat, 18 ways to wear a long beige puffer and 20+ ways to wear a tartan blazer.  Now, this magenta coat is such a statement piece.  I've bought it two years ago and I've worn it many times since then. How many times I'm not exactly sure, but I did wear it at least 15 times on the blog. Altogether, I have 17 outfits with this magenta coat documented  and photographed (3 of which I wore last week). I'm actually a big fan of coloured coats because I feel they're such an easy way to add colour to our winter wardrobe. Bellow you can see how I wore this magenta coat with a business chic outfit.
 1. WITH A GREY BLAZER, NAVY PANTS  AND BROWN BOOTS
I'm a big fan of the whole 'suit up' trend. One of the fun ways to wear this trend is to mix and match your suits. Bellow you can see me wearing a classical pair of navy flared pants paired with a grey blazer. Now, this blazer is a part of a matching suit but I like to wear it mixed with other pieces as well.  The combination of a suit and a magenta coat is something I really liked. Finally, the scarf is a great way to finish any business chic outfit.
2. WITH LEGGINGS, A TARTAN SCARF AND BIKER BOOTS
This is an outfit I wore for trekking and strolling around island Hvar. There really isn't that much to say about it. It was very comfortable and I enjoyed wearing it.

3. WITH CORD JEANS, A TURTLENECK, AND A BLACK BLAZER
This is another example of suit mix and matching. Here I matched a black blazer that is a part of a tailored suit with cord flare jeans. Under the blazer I wore a burgundy turtleneck and I liked how it matched the magenta coat. All in all, this was a fun look to wear.
The remaining outfits are from the archives, meaning that I have blogged about them before. I won't talk about them much, I'll just leave you with links so you can check them out and see if there is anything you guys like.

8. WITH HEELED BOOTS, FLARE JEANS AND A BACKPACK

9. WITH A GREY SUIT, A BLUE TURTLENECK AND BLACK HEELED BOOTS

10. WITH LEVI'S JEANS, A BLUE BAG AND SNEAKERS

 14. WITH HAND PAINTED JEANS, A RED BEANIE AND  HEELED BOOTS

That would be all for today. Thank you for reading and visiting!

  1. That coat is a fabulous colour, Ivana! I get so tired of winter coats being dark and dull-coloured. Aside from the mood perk that a brighter colour can give you, it makes you much more visible when walking around in grey days! Safety first!

I hope you have a wonderful week!

  2. Ah yes this is a wonderful coat. And have indeed got much use out it and done such a great job styling it so many ways. And yes it is hard in winter. Here in NY for FW it has been windy, cold and rainy just awful.

  7. It's such a nice colourful coat on you! :) I don't have a lot of magenta clothing but I do love the colour in accessories, I'd love a magenta coat like this, you wear it so well :)

  8. You're right about the colored coat being awesome for cold grey weather! I just love the ones you wear with jeans and leggings as your legs look absolutely long! And also, the one with the palazzo pants as it creates such an unexpected flowy feel. You look gorgeous in these photos, Ivana! I hope you're having a lovely week there. I've been under the weather, slowly recuperating and can't wait to be 100% again! :)xoxo

  9. What a fabulous coat - those sleeves are gorgeous and the color is so rich! I'd never have bought a coat in that color because I would have felt limited to what I could wear it with, but obviously it goes with EVERYTHING! Did you paint those hand-painted jeans yourself? I'm absolutely in love with those. And your backgrounds in your photos are fabulous! I love the one with the little waterfall next to you. I think the outfit I liked best is the one with the red and black tartan scarf and the high-heeled ?combat? boots but they're all beautiful on you and I love the expression on your face in the one with the big yellow building as the background....like you've been up to something.

    Baci!

  13. What a gorgeous coat, Ivana, and I love how you're showing us the many ways it can be worn. My favourites are the first look, the one with the jeans and tartan scarf, and my ultimate favourite, the last one, with the painted jeans and fur capelet. That last photo but one is so magical! I hope your week is going well, my lovely friend xxx

  27. Hi there Ivana, is everything ok?

First of all thank you so much for stopping by and for read all the post, Ivana :) It is so nice to have your feedback in every article!

The kind of post I need in order to give a twist to my coats, sometimes and due to cold days you feel the tendency to dress always the same.... since I can't have many coats as the influencers (money + space at small European apartments) so a little bit of inspiration and creativity is always needed to take advantage of our pieces :)

All the options are quite good, but the one with a blazer underneath is great since you can go from home to the office or to an important meeting or nice dinner without putting aside elegance or formality ;)

PS: All the places were you took the pictures are so magical and breathtaking!

    Best regards dear!

    1. Yes, it is. I love how there are so many ways to style coats. I like to style different scarves and faux fur stoles with them, sometimes it changes the look of a coat entirely.

  30. Outerwear in vibrant colors is such a lovely way to jazz up any winter wardrobe and your magenta coat is lovely and versatile. I especially like the detailing on the collar and sleeves. I ordered a coat in a similar shade and loved the color but it was just too boxy and big on me that I had to return it.
