Sights to See, Places to Visit / Znamenitosti za vidjeti, Mjesta za posjetiti ( Čeveljuša)

Time for another Sights to See, Places to Visit feature on my blog. It's been a while since my last one. However, if you scroll down I'm sure you can agree with me in my claim that this hidden gem was worth the wait. Without further ado, I'll say that the location in question is Čeveljuša near Ljubuški in Herzegovina. This place offers various recreational and sport activies. During the Summer, it is also a  popular bathing spot. I haven't tried swimmimg here myself, as this was my first visit but I'll keep it in mind for future. I certainly have a special place for river Trebižad in my heart ( I explained in one of my previous posts why this river has nine names).

What I can tell you with certainty is that this is a perfect place to relax a little. I immensely enjoyed my short visit. If you're planning to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, keep this place in mind. Herzegovina is a region so rich in natural beauty that it never fails to impress me. Discovering its charm everyday is a source of nevernending joy for me. How one relatively tiny area can contain so much biological and natural diversity is beyond me. I hold utmost admiration for rivers in Herzegovina, they're all incredibly beautiful. I don't even how to describe their beauty, it's pure river magic.

Ovo mjesto nudi razne rekreacijske i sportske aktivnosti.

  13. I absolutely picked up on the relaxing vibes from this place - water often has that effect on me too. I'll never forget a few years ago on a visit to Switzerland, I went on a waterfall walk trail and it was undoubtedly one of the most amazing life experiences - the water was so loud it drowned out everything else, it was impossible not to relax :) I like your photography of this place by the way and your outfit seems perfect for the occasion - you suit stripes!! Hope you're having an amazing week so far...

Divno mesto za izlet i još jedno na ogromnoj listi koje bih želela da vidim nekada. Divno izgledaš i mnogo mi se sviđa kako si uparila dva različita dezena sa prugicama. Baš je simpatično, originalno i efektno :)

  36. Omigosh you never cease to blow me away with your locations Ivana. This place holds some magic for sure. Pure river magic like you said. Serenity, beauty, amazing. You've got to give it to nature for beautiful gifts like this. And yes, it's definitely worth the wait. I just penciled down Bosnia/ Herzegovina as a must see. My bucket list is getting longer by the day, hehe.
I love you stripe on stripe. A lot of gals shy away that and instead pair stripes with floral or solids. This is a bold look and you pulled it off real good. The length of the skirt is just right and the pop of baby blue peeking out from the top is so cute.
Hope you had a good week babe.

10 STYLE LESSONS LEARNED FROM MALENA/ MONICA BELLUCCI

With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.  The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Belluci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing). There is definitely a Mediterranean lady feel about Malena/Monica Bellucci. What says summer better than Mediterranean and Sicily? Today we'll analyze Malena's style and see what we can learn from her. There is much to learn! Having analyzed looks that Monica wore in iconic Malena film, I…

30+ WAYS TO STYLE A PAIR OF JEANS: SUSTAINABLE FASHION

Hello there, lovely people! I hope you're staying in and staying safe.  In my last post, I blogged about different fashion related things you can do while in corona virus self-isolation or lock-down. One of the things I pointed out is taking this opportunity to become more sustainable in your fashion  choices. I suggested shopping your closet, trying out new looks with the clothes you already own and creating a visual diary (or a folder) with clothing items and outfits you like. If something works for you, why not capitalize on it, especially when it is also beneficial for the environment?

HOW MANY TIMES YOU SHOULD WEAR AN ITEM TO MAKE IT SUSTAINABLE? Today I'll show you what I like to do to make my fashion choices more sustainable- and that is getting the maximum wear out of an item. So, for a while now I've been creating these 'X ways to wear an X items' posts. These kind of posts take a lot of time to make, because I have to browse my old blog posts and hunt fo…

COLOURFUL STYLING FOR A VISIT TO ČAPLJINA CITY Orange, green, blue, black / Narančasta, zelena, plava i crna

Orange is the colour of warmth, some say. In the colour palette, it is placed between red and yellow, two colours that are very dear to me. So, the fact that I'm fond of this colour is not surprising at all. As you can imagine, I was very happy when I found this lovely midi dress. I've been looking for a long sleeved midi dress for a while, so it's great that I finally found one- and in perfect colour.   The fact that it is from a local brand Bellissima makes it even better. I'm mentioning this brand because people often avoid local stores thinking they are expensive, but in reality they are often cheaper than high-street brands. Yes, you read that right. You don't have to buy all your clothes in Zara, H&M and other high-street brands. Not that I'm against high-street brands. I'm not.  I mean buy clothes in Zara if that is what you really want, but don't be afraid to explore different options. Never buy something just because someone else is doing …
