Winter magic / Zimska čarolija

If you truly love the sea, you won't admire it only during the warmer months. My love for the sea is not limited to Summer. Croatian seaside during Winter is pure magic. When the cold northern wind clears the air, the islands seem within a hand's reach. I have a feeling that the islands encircle the coast the way planets encircle the sun. My imagination encloses itself in this landscape, in this giant sea shell, soothed by its beauty and gently polished like a pearl, my imagination is reborn. 

Ako doista volite more, nećete mu se diviti samo tijekom toplih mjeseci. Moja ljubav prema moru nije rezervirana samo za ljeto. Hrvatska obala zimi je čista čarolija. Kada hladni sjeverni vjetar očisti zrak, otoci se čine nadohvat ruke i imam osjećaj da kruže oko obale kao planeti oko sunca, a moja mašta se zatvara u taj  krajolik,  u tu golemu morsku školjku, umirena njenom ljepotom i izbrušena kao biser, moja mašta se ponovo rađa.

    These are glorious photos! I love the sea truly, whenever I can get there, I do. I remember spending a very happy 4 days by myself in the late Autumn by the sea in Suffolk. It was freezing and raining but I adored walking the entire 5mile stretch of the coast.x

    Even just your vivid description that captures everything tells so much about your love for the sea. I find the sea very soothing and a place for quiet and meditation sometimes. Weird right? Lol. My birth sign is pieces and I feel like I have a connection to water in any and every form although i can't swim, hehe. Much as I love it, I don't think my love comes close to yours.     Hi Ivana, I'm finally here again! How I missed visiting your blog. I'm so glad we are still always talking to each other on IG but I do feel guilty not spending enough time there too.

    I've never visited any sea during the winter. We are tropical here and the only place I visited during the winter is NYC and nope no sea. I love your little paragraph up there. Beautifully written!

    I forgot to add on. I've not been on your blog for so long that it's no longer autosaved in the url dropdown list and I had to click from your comment. Your blog url when ending with ".ba" had a problem accessing from my country. I had to change to ".com". Was initially so shocked when I couldn't access with the harsh font saying it's a threat and that I should not proceed. Silly firewall!

    Predivno rečeno :) I sama volim more zimi, čak možda i više nego leti. Nekako je sve čarobnije, lepše, svetlost je drugačija, a da ne govorim što volim kad nema žive duše u okolini ;) Fotografije ostavljaju bez daha, a ti si prelepa! Mislim da mi je ovo možda najdraži tvoj post u poslednje vreme :)

FORGIVENESS DAY BY URSULA K. LE GUIN (BOOK REVIEW AND AN AUTUMN STYLING)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective. In this post, I'll share my review for Maugham's short story titled T he Ant and the Grasshopper . This post will also be  a reading recommendation because I enjoyed this story a great deal. I've been reading Maugham's The Complete Short Stories for some time now. I've been taking my time with this collection, but I enjoyed it a lot.
