My internet connection is really bad so I'll keep this one short, at least as far as the text goes. The photos were taken a few years ago and I have shared some of the photos from this trip before so I guess this is post no.2 about Blidinje.
Internetska veza mi je loša pa će ovaj post biti kratak barem što se teksta tiče. Fotografije su od prije par godina i već sam podijelila neke fotografije sa ovog izleta pa se može reći da je ovo drugi post o Blidinju.
Breathtaking views and outstanding structures. Aww, you look so cute. very nice photos. Thanks for sharing. Hope your internet gets working soon. Have a great weekend.
I will never stop saying that, you live in a wonderful place, Ivana! The nature is breathtaking over there, I'd love to have a stroll and see it all with my own eyes. Those photographs are adorable and so interesting to look at! Wish you a great day ahead!
The combination of light and mountain views is extremely uplifting. It seems as though I could breathe in clear, hilltop air just from looking at the last 3 images.
Beautiful pictures dear.x I am sure your trip was amazing, it looks such an amazing place! Hope you'll get a better internet connection soon.x Can't wait for your next post! Have a lovely and relaxing Sunday! xxxx Stephanie vidathings.blogspot.co.uk
Obviously it´s wonderful there, thanks a lot for your great pics! Are you also drinking black tee with lemon? Because especially if I drink tea outside from home this is my preferred drink :) Hope you had a wonderful weekend so far!
All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! Published in 2021, this postmodern novel follows two story lines and uses framed narration. The Island of Missing Trees tells the life story of a Greek Turkish couple and their adolescent daughter. This novel examines and explores a number of topics such as identity, migration, immigrant life, war trauma, memory, love and family. It's an ambitious novel that examines serious topics with due respect and sensitivity . I read it months ago, but I remember it vividly. Honestly, I cried a lot while reading this novel. It really moved me greatly. In fact, that is probably why it took me this long to finish this book review. I needed to emotionally process the story. The Island of Missing Trees is set in London and Cyprus. The narration isn't chronological . The story jumps back and forth, following ...
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! Thank you for your lovely comments on my last Goranci outfit & travel post . Spring is here, but I'm back with another cold weather outfit, beanie and all. The arrival of Spring rarely means that it's time to ditch the coats altogether. Transitional fashion often entails layers and coats. I live in the Mediterranean region and if we're still wearing coats, I imagine you are as well. No need to forget about layering just because Spring is here. I'll also take this opportunity to reflect on my Winter as well. With years I learned to love Winter, and I'm almost sad to let this season go. Almost. One of the highlights of this Winter were definitely the people. There were moments that brought my faith back into humanity, little moments of kindness and warmth. Life passes so quickly but that is what remains- a moments of true connection. That's something that I'm truly grateful for. I know there are people who not only...
Hello dear readers! Today I'll invite you to join me on my visit to Mdina on Malta. I visited Mdina with my namesake friend in March 2022. It was three years ago that I visited Malta for a rather long (two week) long holiday during which I explored the island both with my friends and alone. I blogged about some of my visits, but I decided to save the best for last. Mdina has a fascinating history and hence deserves a post of its own. Mdina is a historical fortified city, once a capital of Malta, that is still confined within its walls. What to say about this ancient capital of Malta? It has been populated since prehistory and it served as Malta's capital from ancient times to the middle ages. It's a truly beautiful city and understandably -one quite popular with the tourists. Still, Mdina has fully preserved its ancient charm. Once you step pass its famous city gates, you will feel like you're travelling back in time. What did we do in Mdina? Would it surprise you to...
With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily. The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Belluci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing). There is definitely a Mediterranean lady feel about Malena/Monica Bellucci. What says summer better than Mediterranean and Sicily? Today we'll analyze Malena's style and see what we can learn from her. There is much to learn! Having analyzed looks that Monica wore in iconic Malena film, I...
In this post, I'll share with you a review of The Count of Monte Cristo. I don't go to theatre/movies often. In fact, years have been known to pass without me seeing a film on the big screen. However, when I saw the poster for the new 2024 The Count of Monte Cristo movie, I knew I simply had to go. I really wanted to see this film, and I didn't even read the reviews or watch the trailer for it. I wasn't even intimidated by the fact it is a three hours long. Afterall, it's based on a rather long novel, so I didn't expect it to be short. Now, I usually review books on my blog, not movies. However, perhaps this film review won't come as a surprise to you. I don't know if you have noticed, but I included a few Monte Cristo quotes in my last post . In the post preceding that one, I mentioned how much I like French movies and recommended one of them- The Odyssey . Moreover, I admitted I'm considering seeing the new Monte Cristo film because of Pie...
