Hello darlings! How are you doing? July has been off to an extremely hot start (the temperatures are extremely high), so I'm spending most of time locked at home and writing new posts for you. Small wonder that I'm daydreaming about beach outfits, right? So, here comes a beach style outfit proposal. Now, you boys and girls know that I like nothing better than rocking printed dresses in summer. Besides the classical floral print, right now I'm really into cherry print. If you ask me, cherry print dresses are such a lovely way to refresh our summer wardrobe. I only own two of them, but those two sure get a lot of wear. If you recall, I received this white cherry print A-line dress from Grace Karin back in February (it arrived just before Valentine's day so that's what I wore it for). Since then, I have worn this white printed dress a couple of times ( with a red blazer here, with an olive blazer here). It might seem too dressy for the beach, but it is actually quite comfortable. You know, I could argue that a vintage inspired dress like this one can be dressed down quite easily with a pair of casual beach shoes, but I know it might still be too dressed up look for some. I actually wore this printed dress for a ferry ride from Split to Starigrad (I opted for a shorter ferry on the way back, this time Drvenik- Sućuraj). I liked this dress so much I ended up wearing it more than I planned. Here you can see me sitting on a rock and channeling my inner mermaid. I do love the freedom that the A-cut provides.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A-LINE DRESSES IN SUMMER?
One of the benefits of A-line dresses is that they are very comfortable. A-line dresses are typically fitted bellow the bust (or around the waist) and they expand from there in shape of a letter A (that is why they are called A-line dresses). These dresses are similar to skater dresses but they tend to be fitted higher at waist. Their great advantage is that they are perfect for most, if not all, body types. I can't think of a body type that wouldn't look good in this type of dress. Why? Because A-line dresses do a great job of balancing the figure.
DO YOU LIKE THIS LOCATION? If you like it, that's great because there are more posts shot at bay Torac coming up. If you remember, I greeted the summer on island Hvar in bay Torac (I left on the first day of summer). We were there for six days and we really enjoyed our six day stay. We stayed in my parents' apartment no. A4044-a. If you follow the link, you can check the availability. (July is already full, but I think there is another free week in August).

WHY ARE WHITE PRINTED ITEMS IDEAL FOR SUMMER?
Another reason why I love this dress for summer is its colour: white. What fits summer aesthetic better than light colours? A white look can be very classical (as demonstrated by Monica Bellucci) If you aren't sure whether all white outfits are for you, why not give printed white items a try. Personally, I think white printed dresses are a great option for summer. If cherry print is too bold for you, why not try wearing a white floral dress? A white printed dress might be the perfect way to wear the white trend for summer. If you ask me, any dress that makes you want to dance is a good dress! So, this write cherry print dress is a winner for me.
As always, thank you for reading and visiting! Take care!
