Pencil Drawings And Sketches+ Drawing With A Mascara: My Art Lately

Today I'm sharing with you some of my pencil drawing and sketches. The idea is to show you on what I've been working on lately.  In addition, I'm going to share with you some drawings done with mascara. That's how I upcycle my own mascaras. First time I used make up to create art was back in 2014 (you can see that post here). If you are a creative soul and you would like to recycle and upcycle your old make up, art is one of the ways to do it.

PENCIL DRAWINGS AND SKETCHES

When it comes to pencil, it is obviously a medium I often use for sketching. However, I sometimes create art in this medium. If you want to see more of my pencil drawings, you can check out some of my 'world of pencil' posts here, here  or you can see some of my newer pencil drawings here and here.

  6. I really love the way you painted with makeup as the pictures seem to have a hold on me. Reminded me abstract paintings and I like those. The way you use petals to decorate over the pencil drawings is really fun and creative too. I hope you will continue drawing and painting. I used to take art classes when I was young and appreciated the water color medium. Visiting your blog has made me feel like I want to rekindle that love! Perhaps, I shall ;) xoxo

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

TOP CROATIAN DESTINATIONS: TROGIR CITY (PART 1)

Time for me to cover another Croatian top destination: Trogir. Yes, today I'm taking you to Trogir city. Trogir has one of the best preserved Romanesque- Gothic complexes in Europe. The city can boost with numerous historical landmarks. It has a high concentration of historical churches, towers, structures and a fortress. Literally, every where you look, you'll be beholding history.
This charming historical city is located on a small island between Croatian coastline and island Čiovo. It is located only 27 kilometers from Split city. Moreover, it's only a five minute drive from the airport Split. In fact, airport Split is closer to Trogir then it is to Split city. If you're visiting this area or landing to Split airport, don't miss  the chance to visit this little city. You won't regret it, I promise. If you want to see how this place looks like in summer time, feel free to visit this Trogir travel post of mine.

CROATIAN FASHION WEEK: MATEYANEIRA FASHION ILLUSTRATION IN WATERCOLOUR

I can't really attend fashion weeks because I work full time, but with the help of the internet I get to follow fashion weeks digitally. One of the benefits of living in digital times, I guess. If you remember, I have already shared a number of fashion illustrations inspired by  spring/summer fashion weeks on this little blog of mine ( Valentino Spring Collection 20191 & 2, Zuhair Murad Spring Ready To Wear 2019 collection1 & 2Louis Vuitton Spring Collection 2019 ). Please don't click the links to buy the illustrations, they won't lead you anymore as my art store was lost and it will take me a while to manually remove all the links (I'll explain this later on in this post, for now let's concentrate on positive things like this cute new fashion painting I'll share with you and the design that inspired it).
I was a bit late with catching with Croatian fashion week because I've been busy with work. About a week or so ago, I finally found the time…

TROGIR CITY (PART TWO): KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND OTHER SIGHTS

KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND FORTRESS

As I promised in my last post, my description of  wonderful Trogir city continues. Today I'll show you the city's promenade, its walls and a historical fortress Kamerlengo. We'll start with the latter, as it is one of the main attractions. Castle and fortress Kamerlengo was designed and constructed in the fifteenth century by a local Croatian builder and sculptor known as Martin Radoj. Martin also worked on some of the Gothic elements of Trogir city cathedral and later on in life he was entrusted with the construction of Trogir port. The fortress was commissioned by the Republic of Venice, hence its name 'camelengo ' that is an Italian version of chamberlain. I didn't go inside of  Kamerlengo fortress this time because I've been there before so I just enjoyed observing it from the outside. Besides the Kamerlengo castle, today I'll also show you the city walls and other details from Trogir. Enjoy.

Once again, here is a li…
