WHAT TO WEAR FOR HIKING IN SUMMER? GORANCI VILLAGE & PLANINICA HILL

Today I'm back with another hiking outfit. Hiking in summer feels like an obvious choice, perhaps because we don't have to worry about the weather as much. The warm temperatures are luring us in the open. One thing I love about hiking is how it allows you to set your own pace. As a chronically ill person, that's very important to me. Living with an immune disease can be really tricky because you might feel fine one day and be unable to get out of the bed the next. Even the doctors themselves do not understand immune illnesses completely and nobody knows for sure what is causing them. All we seem to know is that immune illnesses are turning into an epidemic. Even living with them doesn't make them seem any less mysterious. The unpredictability of these illnesses makes planning regular work outs complicated. Hiking is a form of exercise that you can do even when you're not in top shape. So, I can be an appropriate form of exercise for most of us. What do you think? 

Oggi vi mostro un outfit per fare trekking. Il hiking o il trekking in estate sembra una scelta ideale (almeno a me sembra cosi), forse perché non dobbiamo preoccuparci troppo del tempo (in senso meterologico). Le temperature calde danno la voglia per andare all'aperto. Parlando di trekking, una cosa che amo della  questa attività è come ti consente di impostare il tuo ritmo. Perché soffro di una malattia immunitaria/cronica, questo è molto importante per me. Vivere con una malattia immunitaria può essere davvero complicato perché potresti sentirti bene un giorno e non riuscire a uscire dal letto il giorno successivo. Anche i dottori non comprendono completamente le malattie immunitarie e nessuno sa con certezza qual è la causa. Tutto che sappiamo  è che le malattie immunitarie si stanno trasformando in un'epidemia. Anche vivere con loro non li rende meno misteriosi. L'imprevedibilità di queste malattie rende complicata la pianificazione di esercizi e fitness regolare. Trekking è una forma di esercizio che puoi fare anche quando non sei in perfetta forma. Quindi, posso essere un esercizio appropriato per la maggior parte di noi. Cosa pensate?

Danas se vraćam s još jednom kombinacijom za hodanje i planinarenje. Pješačenje ljeti čini se očitim izborom, možda zato što se ne trebamo toliko brinuti o vremenu. Tople temperature nas namamljuju na otvoreno. Ono što volim kod planinarenja je kako nam omogućava da postavimo i pratimo svoj vlastiti tempo. Kao kronično bolesnoj osobi to mi je jako važno. Živjeti s imunološkom bolešću može biti zaista naporno, jer lako se može dogoditi da ćete se jednog dana osjećati dobro, a sljedeći dan nećete moći ustati iz kreveta. Čak ni sami liječnici ne razumiju imunološke bolesti u potpunosti i nitko zasigurno ne zna što ih uzrokuje. Čini se da sve što znamo to da se imunološke bolesti pretvaraju u epidemiju. Čak i življenje s njima ne čini ih manje tajanstvenim. Nepredvidivost ovih bolesti čini planiranje redovite tjelovježbe složenim i teškim. Pješačenje je oblik vježbe koji možete raditi čak i kada niste u vrhunskoj formi. Dakle, može biti prikladan oblik vježbanja za većinu nas. Što mislite?

I've always loved sports but since I started to struggle with health, I have had to make some adjustments. In the process of doing that, I found that hiking works really well for me. It might be because hiking is beneficial in many ways. Trekking is not good just for burning calories, it's a form of exercise that enables you to explore your surroundings and interact with them. When you're hiking in nature you get additional health benefits, but even urban hiking can be beneficial. Hiking might not be the perfect work out for everybody. Nevertheless, there is no denying that hiking has many benefits (as I pointed out in this article). Hiking is a wonderful exercise in it that in enables us to establish a contact with our outdoors (be it natural or urban ones). Exposure to open spaces and spending time in outdoors is important in combating feelings of routine, anxiety and depression that so often oppress the modern man. It is definitely true that people in so called developed countries tend to suffer from immune illnesses more often. They are also more likely to suffer from depression and anxiety. I'm not saying that spending time in nature can cure all our problems, but it surely can't hurt, right? So, give it a try!

Ho sempre amato lo sport ma da quando ho iniziato avere problemi con la salute, ho dovuto cambiare i modi in cui faccio sport. Durante questo processo, ho scoperto che il hiking funziona davvero bene per me. Potrebbe essere perché il hiking è utile in tanti modi. Il hiking non è buono solo per pedere calorie, è anche una forma di esercizio che ti consente di esplorare l'ambiente e interagire con loro. Quando si fa un'escursione nella natura si ottengono anche i ulteriori benefici per la salute, ma anche il trekking o il hiking urbano può essere utile. Il hiking non devo essere perfetto per tutti. Tuttavia, non si può negare che il trekking e il hikking hanno molti vantaggi (come ho sottolineato in questo articolo). Il hiking è un esercizio meraviglioso che ci da un contatto con i spazi aperti (naturali o urbani). L'esposizione agli spazi aperti e il trascorrere del tempo all'aperto è importante per combattere i sentimenti di routine, ansia e depressione che spesso opprimono l'uomo moderno. È sicuramente vero che le persone che vivono nelle paesi piu moderne ( developed countries) tendono a soffrire di malattie immunitarie  più spesso. Hanno anche la più grande probabilità di soffrire di depressione e ansia. Non sto dicendo che passare il tempo nella natura può curare tutti i nostri problemi, ma sicuramente non può far male, giusto? Quindi, proviamo!

Uvijek sam voljela sport ali otkada sam počela imati problema sa zdravljem morala sam pronaći nove načine za baviti se sportom. Tijekom toga procesa, shvatila sam da mi jako odgovora šetanje i planinarenje. Može biti zato što je hodanje korisno na toliko načina. Hodanje, šetanje i planinarenje nije dobro samo za izgubiti kalorije, to je također oblik vježbanja koji nam omogućava uspostaviti kontakt sa svojim okolišem (bio on urban ili prirodan). Izloženost otvorenim prostorima i provođenje vremena vani su jako bitne stvari u borbi protiv osjećaja rutine, aksioznosti i depresije koji tako često muče modernog čovjeka. Stvarno je istina da ljudi koji žive u takozvanim razvijenim zemljama češće pate od imunoloških  bolesti, a također imaju veću mogućnost oboljeti od depresije. Ne kažem da boravak u prirodi liječi sve bolesti i probleme, ali svakako nam neće naškoditi, zar ne? Probajmo!
What to wear for hiking? First of all, you need to wear sun protection. Don't forget to apply sunscreen of your preference. Secondly, comfort should be a consideration. While comfort is something that might be different for everyone (I'm one of those women who finds suits and heels comfortable), you should think of your outfits in terms of how practical it will be. I would recommend breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes. Sneakers and hiking shoes are generally speaking an ideal choice, but a good pair of orthopedic sandals might serve you just as well. Thirdly, don't forget to have fun with your outfit. There is no need for your hiking outfit to be boring, is there? 

Che cosa indossare per fare il hiking? Prima di tutto, la protenzione solare: dovete indossarla. Non dimenticate di applicare la protezione solare di vostra preferenza. In oltre, la vostra comodità deve essere una considerazione. Mentre la comodità  è qualcosa che potrebbe essere diversa per tutti (sono una di quelle donne che trovano comodi anche i tacchi), dovrete pensare ai vostri outfit in senso di praticità. Vi consiglio i tessuti traspiranti e le scarpe comode. Le sneakers e le scarpe da trekking sono generalmente la scelta ideale, ma un buon paio di sandali ortopedici potrebbe anche servirci abbastanza bene. Finalmente, è importante ricordare di giocare con il vostro look. 

Što obući za planinarenje? Prije svega, ne zaboravite na zaštitu od sunca i obavezno nanesite kremu za sunčanje po vašen odabiru. Zatim, udobnost je nešto što morate uzeti u razmatranje. Iako je udobnost nešto što može biti drugačije za svakoga (ja sam jedna od onih žena kojima i odijelo i potpetice mogu biti udoban izbor), trebali biste razmišljati o svojoj odjeći praktično.  Preporučila bih tkanine koje dišu i udobne cipele. Tenisice i planinarske cipele uglavnom su idealan izbor, ali dobar par ortopedskih sandala mogao bi vam poslužiti jednako dobro. No, ne zaboravite se malo i zaigrati. Odjevna kombinacija za hodanje ne mora biti dosadna. 



THE STORY OF MY OUTFIT- HOW I WORE THESE CLOTHING ITEMS BEFORE?
 This look is all about cropped chic. I have chosen an old printed cropped top and paired them with a pair of cropped Amadeus jeans. I don't wear cropped tops that often but when I do, I typically pair them with high waist items. I finished this look with a pair of sneakers and a bag I got from a friend. It was a very comfy outfit and one that felt just right. That proves you don't always have to buy new things to put together a cute styling. GORANCI VILLAGE- A GREEN OASIS NEAR MOSTAR CITY
Were not these horses adorable? These photographs were taken in the vicinity of Goranci village. There are a lot of horses there and it's always a pleasure to see them. It is nice to see that people still take the effort to keep horses. They are such noble animals, aren't they? This village is quite close, so we go hiking there pretty often.   13. Secondo me fare sport nella natura (qualunque tipo di sport) è una delle migliori medicine che ci siano!
    E penso anche io che molto probabilmente una delle cause principali di molte malattie moderne sia proprio la mancanza di contatto con la natura: in fondo siamo stati "costruiti" per stare in mezzo al verde mica in mezzo a cemento e smog!
    Il tuo look è perfetto per una passeggiata in montagna in una bella giornata di sole: stiloso e comodo! Sei carinissima ed i crop top ti stanno davvero molto bene!

  17. I admire the way you are coping with your autoimmune disease, and not let it get in the way of living your life to the full. I've never been into sports, but I've always, from as far as I can remember, loved hiking. It's the perfect way to keep fit, spend time outside and enjoy your surroundings at close quarters. Your hiking outfit is very cute, and I love how you shopped your wardrobe for it, without compromising in style. Have a wonderful weekend, Ivana! Hugs xxx

  18. I also love to hike and I agree that it's a great way to exercise without putting your body through too much. I also have some health issues although I have yet to get answers regarding what they are but they do make a regular exercise routine difficult and so I love hiking for the same reasons you do.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO IN BLAGAJ ( BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA)

I truly enjoy showing you around Bosnia and Herzegovina. Have you noticed that? You know, there are some really amazing destinations in this country. Today I'll take you to beautiful Blagaj, located only a short drive from Mostar city. Blagaj is a picturesque historical village located in Herzegovina region. This little green river oasis is an increasingly popular tourist destination and not without a reason. Blagaj village has got one of the strongest and most beautiful river springs in Europe. This stunning and potent water spring creates Buna river and is a impressive example of karst river formation. Right next to it you can find a historical dervish house (tekija) that is open all year round. 
The dervish house dates back to the sixteenth century.  It placed right next to the entrance to the cave  where the river Buna springs from and it is an incredible site. The cliff over the cave is a very impressive sight as well! You can even go for a boat ride in the cave and see this…

FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: ILLUSTRATED TOTE BAGS REDBUBBLE

I don't know what it is about the combination of tote bags and fashion illustrations that I like so much. Maybe it is simply a matter of combining two things that I love. I adore tote bags for their practicality, I like to carry one with me (often tucked in my regular bag) at all times because you never know. We all know that the typical disposable plastic grocery bags are a huge no-no for the environment, so a tote bag is a must (even if just for grocery shopping).  I personally like to wear tote bags even on occasions that have nothing to do with grocery lists, but to each his own.
