jeans- amadeus (croatian brand)
boots- bought at famous gypsy open market near Mostar

Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! Published in 2021, this postmodern  novel  follows two  story lines and uses framed narration.  The Island of Missing Trees  tells the life story of a Greek Turkish couple and their adolescent daughter.  This novel examines and explores a number of topics such as identity, migration, immigrant life, war trauma, memory, love and family. It's an ambitious novel that examines serious topics with due respect and sensitivity . I read it months ago, but I remember it vividly. Honestly, I cried a lot while reading this novel. It really moved me greatly. In fact, that is probably why it took me this long to finish this book review. Hello readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I'll take you to Međugorje in Herzegovina. I'm also going to meditate a bit on blogging and life. You know yesterday I spend a couple of hours tidying up my blog. I browsed my blog archives for a few hours, added links to some old posts, and organized many of my illustrations into collages. I used to post a lot of illustrations posts, but I wouldn't link them up with my other art post nor would I take proper photographs. Some of my old photographs of my art were quite dark, so it was actually hard to see my art. Moreover, a lot of those old sketches and illustrations were photographed in a hurry. Still, it's better than not being photographed at all. I'm glad I managed to photograph so much of my illustration and art work. ALL BLACK WINTER OUTFIT (SPANISH SQUARE, MOSTAR, BIH)

 Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers. In this post, I will share an all black outfit with you. I've shopped my closet for this outfit. When your wardrobe is composed of clothing items you love, dressing up is never a chore. It is easy to find new ways to combine the clothing items you're already familiar with and know how to use and wear.  The weather these days is sunny and (sometimes) windy. The wind can be quite strong here so layering is a must. I opted for faux fur accessories for extra warmth, wearing both faux fur leg warmers and a faux fur stole. I just now realized these two items have identical looking black faux fur. That's just a nice confidence,though. I bought these two faux fur items separately. UNO, NESSUNO E CENTOMILA/ ONE, NO ONE AND ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND BY LUIGI PIRANDELLO (BOOK REVIEW)

 Today I shall review One, No One and One Hundred Thousand , a novel by Italian writer Luigi Pirandello.  Published in 1926, this existential masterpiece was long in the making. In fact, the author started working on it as early as 1909.  Once it was finally completed, One, No One and One Thousand was published in episodes in an Italian literary magazine  Literature Fair ( La Fiera Letteraria ) . Pirandello described this novel (in an autobiographical letter) as the bitterest of his works but also humoristic. I would agree with his statement. This novel is quite bitter, but at the same time it is wonderfully funny.   One, No One and One Hundred Thousand  tells a quest of one man searching for his identity. The title references a moment when Moscarda, the protagonist of this novel, realizes that he has many identities. READING MAUPASSANT, WEARING OZZ (BOOK REVIEW AND OUTFIT POST)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers. This post is going is going to combine literature and fashion. One could say that's a pretty common combination on my blog. When I post my book reviews, I like to add in some fashion images as well.  In this post, I'll share a review for a few short story written by Maupassant, a French author. I'll also show you some cute outfits I wore, so let's get started.  I'm sharing two outfits today, both of them have a touch of metallic in them. One of them is a more romantic lilac outfit worn with a silver cropped top, while the other is an all black look completed with a vintage black vest with golden imitation pearls. I think the vintage vest really added something to that look. Similarly, the silver cropped top complemented the lilac dress and skirt pretty well.
