    I tuoi schizzi fanno sempre riflettere: io adoro la mini ma solo con le calze coprenti perchè non me la posso più permettere se non al mare :) le scarpe basse non le adoro, io sono già bassa, ma per guidare vanno benissimo, il tartan non mi dispiace ma lo trovo più invernale che estivo e la moda? che dire è bello mettere un po' di noi perchè la moda passa lo stile resta! Hello, dear readers and fellow bloggers. In this post, I'll let my thoughts wonder a bit as I touch on a number of subjects. In other words, I'll get philosophical. I started this post writing about my multiple moves, but somehow it has grown into meditations about identity. It all started with a move, though.  I moved seven times in the last six months. Each move was different, and for different reasons. All of them were in some ways work related, and each move was challenging in its own way.  First I moved from Mostar to Medena (near Trogir), then from Medena to Seget Donji (also near Trogir), then from Seget Donji to island Hvar. First I stayed at a friend's house  because accommodation is hard to find, and then I moved to another apartment that flooded, so I had to move again into another rented house. If I was a shoppingholic I would say : 'I was so happy when I bought this tote bag, I mean isn't this inscription so adorable?'. However, since I'm a DIYaholic, I must say: 'I was so happy when I hand painted this old tote bag. Isn't this incription I made so adorable?'. Hm, now that I think about it, there is a certain similiarity between a shopaholic and a DIYaholic. We're both passionate about things and we invest a certain amount of time in getting what we want. To each its own as they say, so far I prefer DIY, but there are certainly advantages to shopping, like not having to spend half a day cleaning your house after all your DIY projects. Don't worry. I have no intention of jumping in. It is just that I've always been attracted to cliffs and chasms. Perhaps I had been a poet of romanticism in my past life. This could be called a 'blogger off duty' outfit. It is what I wear when I go hiking when I have enough sense to wear something appropriate for that activity (which is not always the case, I've been known to go hiking in skirts, and boots with high heels). Love for fashion and clothes is so much more than a simple dressing up. It is what makes us always want to try new things. It is what makes us wear clothes that might not even look flattering on us but that make us happy. In its pure form, love for clothes and fashion is a form of creativity. 10 STYLE LESSONS LEARNED FROM MALENA/ MONICA BELLUCCI

With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Bellucci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.   The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Bellucci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing).  There is definitely a Mediterranean lady feel about Malena/Monica Bellucci. Charlotte Perkins Gilman, The Yellow Wallpaper (book recommendation/preporuka knjiga)

Today just one quick reading recommendation. The Yellow Wallpape r is a short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. It was published in 1899 (as you can see on these photographs). Here is a link to a pdf version of this text. The author's right are expired, so feel free to pass it around- it is one of advantages of reading classics:). I do consider this short story to be a classic. It tells a story of a woman who is recovering from post natal depression and is confined to her room. It is considered to one of the earliest works of American feminist literature. In its time it was a very important and ground breaking work because it shed more light on mistreatment of depression in woman (and in many ways it is still relevant), but I think that even if we put all of that aside, it is still a  great story. BLOOD OF ELVES, A NOVEL BY ANDRZEJ SAPKOWSKI, WITCHER #3 (BOOK REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION)

 Hello. In this post, I shall review Blood of Elves , the third book  and the first novel in the Witcher saga.  The first two books in the Witcher saga are collection of short stories. So, Blood of Elves is actually the first novel in the series.  As I explained in my last post, I was a bit surprised to find out that  Sword of Destiny  was a short story collection (for some reason I thought it was a novel), but I was taken by it  immediately. Soon enough, I found myself enjoying the short story format. I must say, I ended up falling in love with the book (    SWORD OF DESTINY BY ANDRZEJ SAPKOWSKI , THE WITCHER SERIES #2 ) .   Nevertheless, I was really curious to read the first novel. Again, I took to it right away. Once I started reading Blood of Elves, I immediately felt drawn into the story. Two outfits / Dvije odjevne kombinacije (collaboration/ suradnja CNDirect)

Yesterday morning a package from CNDirect arrived. I ordered and received this coat , this striped cardigan/jacket  and this blouse . I was impatient to try the coat on, but it was too warm during the day so I had to wait until evening hence the second set of photographs is a bit blurry. I wore the striped jacket over a dress in the morning and in the evening I styled the coat and the blouse I received in another outfit. What do you think about my outfits? Have I styled them well?
