Colorama maybeline polka dots (nail-polish review/ recenzija laka za nokte)

' Besides, Pavao Petrovic was decieving himself. His love was not childish and there were times when he admitted it himself.' Janko Leskovar, Doomed courts
"Uostalom, Pavao Petrović varao je sam sebe. Ona njegova ljubav uistinu ne bijaše djetinjarija, a bilo je časova kada to on i sam priznavaše." Janko Leskovar, Propali dvori
Who doesn't like polka dots? Not me. Therefore,  it comes to as no surprise that I really like this Maybelline nail-polish. Besides the fact that it provides you with plenty of polka dots on your nails, you get them in different colours...and this shade of green reminds me of the sea, there is almost a mermaid feeling about it.

The only downside to Colorama nail-polishes is that they don't stay on for very long. They're affordable and have great shades but they don't stay on for long (one day in my case, but I do a lot of housework, cooking and cleaning) . I've bought this one together with a pink one on a discount in DM and both of them cost me  1.50 euros. One more thing, their formula is quite watery so if you take care how you apply it and avoid thick layers it should last longer. One coat is definitely not enough, with just one they're transparent and look a bit messy.

The quote is there because I'm currently going trough Leskovar phrase. You probably wouldn't have heard about. Anyway, I'm rereading everything he has ever written as well as his entire life correspondence.

Ovu još nisam probala, a baš bih mogla! Super su mi te točkice. I slažem se, boja jest pomalo sirenska. :))

    Inače, super blog!

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

TOP CROATIAN DESTINATIONS: TROGIR CITY (PART 1)

Time for me to cover another Croatian top destination: Trogir. Yes, today I'm taking you to Trogir city. Trogir has one of the best preserved Romanesque- Gothic complexes in Europe. The city can boost with numerous historical landmarks. It has a high concentration of historical churches, towers, structures and a fortress. Literally, every where you look, you'll be beholding history.
This charming historical city is located on a small island between Croatian coastline and island Čiovo. It is located only 27 kilometers from Split city. Moreover, it's only a five minute drive from the airport Split. In fact, airport Split is closer to Trogir then it is to Split city. If you're visiting this area or landing to Split airport, don't miss  the chance to visit this little city. You won't regret it, I promise. If you want to see how this place looks like in summer time, feel free to visit this Trogir travel post of mine.

CROATIAN FASHION WEEK: MATEYANEIRA FASHION ILLUSTRATION IN WATERCOLOUR

I can't really attend fashion weeks because I work full time, but with the help of the internet I get to follow fashion weeks digitally. One of the benefits of living in digital times, I guess. If you remember, I have already shared a number of fashion illustrations inspired by  spring/summer fashion weeks on this little blog of mine ( Valentino Spring Collection 20191 & 2, Zuhair Murad Spring Ready To Wear 2019 collection1 & 2Louis Vuitton Spring Collection 2019 ). Please don't click the links to buy the illustrations, they won't lead you anymore as my art store was lost and it will take me a while to manually remove all the links (I'll explain this later on in this post, for now let's concentrate on positive things like this cute new fashion painting I'll share with you and the design that inspired it).
I was a bit late with catching with Croatian fashion week because I've been busy with work. About a week or so ago, I finally found the time…

TROGIR CITY (PART TWO): KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND OTHER SIGHTS

KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND FORTRESS

As I promised in my last post, my description of  wonderful Trogir city continues. Today I'll show you the city's promenade, its walls and a historical fortress Kamerlengo. We'll start with the latter, as it is one of the main attractions. Castle and fortress Kamerlengo was designed and constructed in the fifteenth century by a local Croatian builder and sculptor known as Martin Radoj. Martin also worked on some of the Gothic elements of Trogir city cathedral and later on in life he was entrusted with the construction of Trogir port. The fortress was commissioned by the Republic of Venice, hence its name 'camelengo ' that is an Italian version of chamberlain. I didn't go inside of  Kamerlengo fortress this time because I've been there before so I just enjoyed observing it from the outside. Besides the Kamerlengo castle, today I'll also show you the city walls and other details from Trogir. Enjoy.

Once again, here is a li…
